Heads up Xbox users...

Just wanted to give me fellow Xbox users a friendly heads up, if any of you guys are getting the early access of M25 (which comes out Monday the 12th @4pm) you can now predownload the game now through your phone.

I am currently downloading and the file size is currently 53.19GB, which is a far cry from what I seen earlier when I had posted in the CG25 impression thread which said the game was 90+ GB.

Anyhow, just wanted to give a heads up...not sure how the PS5 does it or PC when it comes to stuff like this....sorry.

yep, go to the Xbox app on your phone, and provided you have everything linked up properly all that's needed is to search Madden 25 on the app, and the option is right there to download the game to your console.

I bought the EA Sports MVP Bundle that includes both Madden and NCAA deluxe editions.

Yet I see nowhere to download Madden.

When I go to manage games for NCAA it shows Madden 25 as an ADD ON that doesn't need to be installed.

And when I go to the Xbox store I only have the option of BUYING Madden. Both the base game and the deluxe edition (which I supposedly own) are only for sale...

I have a bad feeling about this...

When I go to manage games for NCAA it shows Madden 25 as an ADD ON that doesn't need to be installed.

And when I go to the Xbox store I only have the option of BUYING Madden. Both the base game and the deluxe edition (which I supposedly own) are only for sale...

I was wondering the same thing. I have never purchased a dual pack game before. I have no clue how to or even where to find the download for Madden. I even went back to my purchase receipt to see if gave a code or something.

I dont have a bad feeling though...Im sure it will be all good, just have no clue where to locate it

Download it through your phone….you can pre download games you haven’t even purchased through the phone app.

But will it recognize you purchased through the bundle or will this download act like it is a new purchase once the game goes live?

Soooooooo. After I downloaded it it prompted me to go to the Microsoft store . It asked if I owned the game. When I went to the store it only had “manage game” under the standard edition” it will let me buy the deluxe edition which tells me that the bundle might have an issue

I do have the exclamation symbol on the game currently, but what I am guessing is this is nothing more than the early access predownload hasn't actually been released through the MS store yet, once that goes live, then I would bet the exclamation symbol disappears.

If you look at the MVP Bundle (and provided this is the one that was purchased) it clearly says "you own this"...which mine does say.

I don't feel this is anything to worry about, if you bought the early access, I see absolutely no reason why you wouldn't receive it.

I hope that’s the case . I only had the ncaa icon on my Home Screen . I thought it was weird that I never had the madden icon . As long as it says you own the game, then you own the game..as I mentioned, I'm sure it's due to the game not actually being in the MS store yet...

If you need clarification from MS, then contact them...when I go to the game card for M25, it states the game is downloaded, as well as saying "you own this" on the MVP bundle.

The problem I see is the Madden game itself. For me it shows up under the add on and says it does not need to be installed. But to me this is where the place holder should be for the automatic download. The issue I have with just downloading the game. The app allows us to download any game even if not purchased. Which it will say game is downloaded but is separate from your purchased bundle which means you will end up purchasing a second copy of the game. That add on in the bundle is where the error is because that keeps everything tied together and puts the download in the proper area so you will not have to pay twice.

Also the app just tells me download the game it does not see versions at least on mine. That download will be a separate purchase when the game unlocks on Friday.

If those of you are worried, then contact MS...as I've already mentioned, with the MVP edition bundles of both games, it clearly says "you own this", that means you own it...

Also as I mentioned, early access hasn't been released in the Store yet, I would be willing to bet that once it is released, those that downloaded the game and have the exclamation sign that will go away...but like I mentioned, if some are that worried, contact MS and talk to them...easy as that.
