Enormously disappointing if true. Not being able to download the custom teams to our systems, and then importing them into offline franchises almost makes the feature useless, given we can't control multiple teams inside online franchises.

Assuming Teambuilder launches the same time as standard edition tomorrow at 4 pm eastern, making my team will be one of the first things I do and I'll post it here once I do. I've already used the EA Play trial to make my custom offensive playbook. Only thing left to do after that is roster edits.

Well you can only use it online so it's pretty useless to me before it's even released [emoji17]

Yeah that's one of the reasons I got this game on PC as I figured it would be online only. Figured I would mod a custom team and just do offline franchise. I'll probably just do online franchise with Teambuilder until the modding team figures that stuff out for this game.

It being online only does suck, but what apparently sucks more is not being able to recreate the Houston Oilers. I'd rather have it offline only and be able to create unlimited. The logic involved with folks deciding things just isn't there, and it hurts my brain trying to reason it out.

Also, I just read where Nicholas Cage is going to do a John Madden biopic film. I hope there's a scene where he gets PO'ed at EA Sports, so that we can have memes forever.

The fact that you can only download 15 teams is the biggest let down. I had high hopes. but, like you said, at least for me, it's useless. I hope others can enjoy it.

Also can't remake NFL teams. I tried making the Bills so I could give them custom uniforms but it said the team name was already taken or something. Not sure if that's the NFL being super controlling and not wanting people to alter brands of teams, or if they don't want it to cause a glitch if for example I imported my custom Bills over say the Browns, and then there would be 2 different Buffalo Bills in the league.

Anyway, I just called them the "Buffalo Billls" with 3 L's and it let me do it lol. Will post screenshots tomorrow, but it's basically the Bills but with Sabres colors (blue and gold).
