Apologies but, Just a small rant. the "equipment updates" each year get more and more underwhelming. Like, im glad we finally have padded sleeves after a decade of asking, some rolled up sleeves and a couple new cleats but come on.

Same gloves each year, arm bands, (in beta there was an option for upper and lower bands so maybe if we pray?) generic tape options, the facemasks that are allegedly "scanned" still look awful. (f7 masks in particular). we still have visors that don't even fit on some masks correctly. (Jonathan Taylor in particular)

i know this is a pointless rant to some but im big on authenticity man. The modding community on PC has BY FAR delivered in this aspect better then the people that are paid to do it. I honestly just dont get it.

again im sorry for the rant but this is just crazy at this point.

Yeah ppl line is that are into that type of authenticity have to migrate to pc gaming and mods that's the only way.. in a way I understand it's not important enough to put b resources in and we're the minority especially with ultimate team and all that money making stuff which austin I understand

Question I've seen some videos go over the equipment. What is up with the pants selection, whereas it shows basic compression shorts or no shorts? Is there gonna be an update that allows compression tights later. Cause that option seems kinda pointless if it doesn't really apply any visual gear.

I completely agree the F7 masks look horrible noway they were scanned. Some masks like Johnathan taylor hang way to low. Also, it makes wearing the visor awful because it doesn't connect. Smh.

What bugs me is they added scrunchy/bulky socks this year but they don’t work on solid white or solid color socks. And!!!! I still can’t believe we can’t have individual cleat color instead of it being for the whole team. And last thing is we still have the same hair for players. Dreads should look more up to date as well as light color hair and Afros that show underneath the helmet .

Yeah that's kinda of a bummer. The socks definitely need to be separated from the leggins i guess you could call them now I hope they add in the scrunchy high socks like CFB25

The shoulder pads look horrible too, especially when you look from the side. It looks like they all have neck rolls underneath.

With these 'new' 3d sleeves, i dont get why they just didnt replace them with the 2d/painted ones..

now u have to manually edit every since player that still have them.. no global edits

Omg man yes! They look atrocious. Put a dark visor on taylor and theres like a full inch gap. The f7s really bother me, they look nothing like the real thing. Its honestly alarming that after so many years they cant get this right. And the equipment dev says on twitter they scanned them in. (He used to be active here to). I highly doubt they were scanned when modders made them look perfect by free handing them. Just such a let down.

How we still can’t edit individual cleats is beyond me. And I can’t go back to the “normal” pants length now after having the option on NCAA to make it actually look like real life.

You're gonna have to take this one up with the NFL.

EA Sports is at the whim of the league's uniform rules and guidelines, which have specific language about pants and knee protection, and the NFL additionally has final say over what does and doesn't appear in Madden NFL.
