I'm not one to complain but this is not a good game. This is the first in very many years I decided not to purchase the yearly addition.

1. all madden difficulty is still a joke. Heisman actually gives you a challenge on College Football.

2. The game just feels stale

3. Franchise mode is a joke. Still no team styles, coaching styles, etc..

4. Play calling is a joke and they actually improved the playbook this year.

5. The new Camera angle is not my favorite.

6. Coverage is horrible and CPU run defense is horrible.

7. Robo QB is back.

8. Still has same old legacy issues with clock management.

Coming from College Football Madden is severly lacking this year.

Madden is a joke since PS3 gen. Last good Madden was 13, and even this edition had lot of problems...

What you expected? It's EA my friend...Just accept it...We have no other NFL fix...

I Disagree. I think Madden 2023 and 2024 were good. There were some stuff that they legacy issues that were fixed it. Robo QB, Cpu running game.. but this game 2025 bring back all the issues that this game had in the past decade. Robo QB, bad running game, No defense at all, QB being pin point accurate with % over 80 every single game no matter how good or bad their ratings are etc.

This is one of the worst madden in the past 15 years or more.

I hate to hear this because I kind of liked 24 and wanted to get this. College football it is until this goes on sale. Glad I pre ordered 2k last night for $50

Agreed, I don't think the same boring complaints we've had to read for two decades should be cluttering up the main feed for people who actually want to enjoy and immerse themselves this game, but what do I know.

We get it, you hate EA, you think threatening to not buy is going to change things, etc. The "last good version" is just the last one you liked when life was better, but it ain't better than this game. Adjust some sliders or play the old ones if they're so much better.

I'm having a lot of fun with it, I have a Superstar mode going as Dallas Cowboys QB, playing exhibition and about to start Online Franchise.

We get it, you hate EA, you think threatening to not buy is going to change things, etc. The "last good version" is just the last one you liked when life was better, but it ain't better than this game. Adjust some sliders or play the old ones if they're so much better.

I don't hate EA. This game is just bad. I like College Football.

All Madden is a offense fest

Franchise Mode is lacking

There is no pass rush or pass coverage and cpu play calling is atrocious

The clock management is still horrible.

This is not a EA thing but just to point out the major flaws killing Madden 25 still.

Hopefully we can get some mods to improve my experience but this is a big step back especially from College Football.

What do all 3 have in common EVERY YEAR? And yes, all three have the ability to be wrong. If a person cannot be objective then they lose all credibility when attempting to critique something because there is an obvious bias. I can halfway tolerate Softdrink, but the other two...no credibility with me AT ALL.

With that being said, I've decided that for now, I am going to continue my 32 Team CPU v. CPU Franchise that I have going on Madden 24. The way I have the roster edited exactly as I want with the settings perfectly complimenting it, it's enough to give me the pro fix. I've watched every single game, every single week in this Franchise and it plays very well on the field. it doesn't suffer from the early issues that are presenting themselves in madden 25. I'm just not feeling 25 RIGHT NOW. I'm thinking if the mod team breaks through, I'll get it for PC this year down the line.

I didn't realize OS was dedicated to post for people who only enjoyed the games? Also, you don't have to click on a thread you know. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

In fact I probably played that game more than 23 & 24

24 got better after a few updates to the game but by that time I had already checked out. I might stick with 24 depending on what they do with 25.

I wasn't a big of 25 doing my EA play free trial

And I've purchased every football video game made in America since '92. I've been playing cpu vs cpu since '94. Only thing holding this game back are playbooks. And the playbook thing is an easy fix. They only need to even the ratings of the 500 plays available and you'll see the cpu call plays you didn't know exist!

I don't have the robo QB problem, and my run/pass defense is great.

It's too hard for me on my regular setting, All-Pro. I've had to move down to Pro. So I really disagree with this statement!
