What’s your favorite things you’ve heard the announcers say?

One of my favorites is during bowl games where Jesse is asked what was most memorable about his bowl experiences and he talks about a 100+ person street brawl between his guys and Miami’s players. [emoji15]

But easily my favorite comes from Pollack. When discussing RPOs he talks about how the linemen block down field and he just outright calls RPOs cheating. [emoji23] You’d never be able to guess that he’s a former defensive lineman.

I was very taken aback when I heard David Pollack say the word "damn" when discussing the Virginia - North Carolina rivalry. Might be the first time I've heard an announcer say a curse word in a licensed sports game lol.

Clicked on this to mention Palmer telling the story of the Miami/Florida brawl on Bourbon Street. When they cued him up I was like "oh no way is he actually going to say this" and then he did.

LMAO! I’ve heard him say that multiple times, but I didn’t know it was from Major League 2 (which I’ve seen, but multiple decades ago).

Some about stylin and profilin and a good woo! Can't remember the exact lines he used but it was definitely a ric flair reference.

They have another like the one above, in the same vein. Again, I can't recall verbatim but its the one where they're talking about Methuselah living 900 years, and he had time to be born and die in that last, long drive. Lol.


Also, I was surprised to hear them giving Henry Ruggs a shout out when I played against Alabama. I haven't played against USC but I can't imagine they are giving callbacks to OJ. I could be wrong, what do I know? But I wouldn't be surprised if they removed the Ruggs reference in a patch.

I beat down some team and in the post game wrap up Pollack was talking about what a beat down it was and he said it was like frying pan, meet face. That gave me a good chuckle.

I heard a good one today. Playing the bowl game my receiver madeafewnicecuts on his way to the end zone. The commentators said something along the lines if this dude was like a kitchen knife the way he was slicing and dicing through the defense. Then the other commentator was like yeah that would be nice to keep his in-laws away. LOL

When I've thrown multiple multiple INT's (or been on the receiving end), I chuckle hearing ''He's finding wide-open defenders all over the place'' or something along those lines.
