Re: I know they didn't!
Do you mean when it's 3rd & 18, and you play the pass... they run it up the middle with a draw and get 19... lol

Re: I know they didn't!
Exacted some revenge for the human the yesterday by doing this except it was 1st and 10 with 0:13 left before half. Ran it for 35 yards on a draw and got into FG range to take a 3pt lead into the half. Held on and won in the second hahaComment

Re: I know they didn't!
Have had the computer hit me with a smoke/bubble screen on 3rd and medium when I had my defense in a zone playing the sticks before. It's one thing to give up a conversion on a HB screen. That's a play that the CPU has run in EA games for as long as I can remember. But the WR screens feel different. It's been a while, but I don't remember the CPU calling many (if any) WR screens in NCAA 14. Somehow giving up a HB screen makes you feel dumb, but giving up a WR screen makes you feel like you got outsmarted.Comment

Or... one game I was playing when I first learned how lethal Jet Sweeps are in 25, I ran about a dozen of them to near perfection every time , got at least ten yards every time. At the end of the game, the CPU runs just ONE against me, busts off a 60 yard jet sweep TD to finish me off.Last edited by Ghost Of The Year; 08-21-2024, 10:19 AM.Talk about things nobody cares.

Also had the CPU fake me out with a Jet Sweep motion only to hand it off on a GT Counter to the opposite side where I had just shifted all of my LBs away from. Legend has it that RB is still running to this day.
It's still far from perfect, especially in late-game situations. And I've found that the CPU is very bad at running a traditional zone read runs (if I move even one pixel inside with my DE the QB will proceed to keep the ball and get absolutely annihilated by my hit stick). But overall, I do feel like the CPU utilizes more kinds of plays/concepts than they did in NCAA 14. It makes things much more interesting when the CPU does more than just dives, sweeps, slants, curls, and streaks all game.Last edited by Pokes404; 08-21-2024, 10:37 AM.Comment

One time I hit a guy as he was hurdling a defender and he still landed on his feet and kept running.Comment

Re: I know they didn't!
I’m up by 10 with about 3 minutes remaining. 3rd or 4th and long. Their WR gets behind my CB in a cover 4 and the QB chucks it deep… but he underthrows the ball for an easy swat for my corner. He bats the ball……
up in the air, and the WR 2 yards further down the field catches the ball, and then runs in for the TD.Favorite Teams:

Re: I know they didn't!
I feel in previous versions, even on All American, the CPU played pretty vanilla especially when something pretty amazing needed to be drawn up. I haven't seen it a ton in CFB 25, but there have been instances where I thought, "Wait, a minute. Where did that come from?"Comment
