Well it at least sounds promising and as if changes could be made for the better. The nice thing about not having expectations with this game anymore is that I don't have the feeling where I'm going to buy the game and be disappointed. It's just been an expectation the last 7 or so years. I'll play the 10 hour trial and sometimes that's enough and then last year 24 was absolutely awful to me so I didn't even play more than 2 hours of my trial. The 10 hour trial has saved me a lot of money.

To satisfy me all they have to do is,

1. Get rid of the ridiculous flopping goalies from 24. No clue why EA thought that was a good idea. It was the reason I didn't play more than 2 hours of that game. That was using sliders btw.

2. Give me neutral zone pressure. It got somewhat better the past couple years but there's still no reason to dump a puck in or change up any sort of forecheck. Then the CPU can get too aggressive and go for a hit so you can easily slip down the boards past for an easy 2 on 1 or breakaway.

3. Allow goals to get scored by hitting the net and not off the post. I swear every direct shot that goes in, goes off the post.

4. Go back to a full broadcast. Have options again and make one of those full replays for both user and CPU on goals among other things.

That's all I want other than realistic moving goalies but I've wanted that since the time NHL 2k8 had it and it still hasn't happened. I just want a reason to buy this game on day one again.

cautiously optimistic, I won't make the same mistake again. I'll wait it out and try the 10-hour trial.

Doesn't mean that the game will be better and yes I read the article. It's more theory than anything else. I don't believe any of MLB the show's issues have to do with it being available on last gen.

Of course it doesn't, but my hope is more focus/development time on current gen will make for a better product. Time will tell, and I do enjoy 24.

The Show still looks like PS3 era graphics lol. It's horrible.

Not enough people buy the game on consoles, ps5/xbox series x and even toss in ps4/xbox one. We are lucky we even have a game at this point, PC is the last thing on their mind I'd assume.

Also when it comes to PC, they need to take into account the range of PC types and power. NBA2k and Madden just got their PC versions updated to current gen this year (not sure if FIFA is yet), so it’s another layer they’d have to consider.

And like you said, the PC market for the game is extremely small as the console market isn’t big to begin with.
