Dynasty Restart Post Patch

Did anyone restart their dynasties based off of rosters and patch? I know I chose another team in our online dynasty because Miami didn't have 3 wideouts and 3 corners that were in the game. We are almost at the end of year one. We are mulling over the idea of starting over. Just seeing if anyone else has done so.

I wasn’t going to, the previous reasons to restart didn’t bother me. But I am now considering restarting with the new update/rosters because I really didn’t know what I was doing recruiting my first go lol.

I restarted. It was kind of a tough decision, but my first one, I was still trying to figure out the game, and recruiting. Ended up making some moves I kind of wish I didn't do, and in the end was trying to fight through playing on AA, and it just wasn't really working out.

Seemed like with rosters, and the new patch, there was enough for me to give it a go from the beginning again.

In the end, I ended up keeping my original, just incase it ends up making more sense for me to keep going that direction.

I kept one going that I’m in season 4 in and started a new one with utep. Plan on playing both.

I restarted my offline last night after testing. I don't know if anyone else reported this, but they seemed to have done at least some work on scheduling issues, because the Big Ten schedules for 2025-2028 have the correct matchups now (the order isn't right, but I don't really care about that, just that everyone is playing the correct teams). Wisconsin now plays Iowa every year, Michigan now plays MSU every year, etc. I also simmed into 2029 and those still looked good as well. Granted this was with no custom conferences, so others should look further into it, but for my purposes this is fantastic.

No mention of it in the notes but still sounds promising. It may be November before I actually start my real dynasty. Just can’t do it without schedules and custom conferences right.

I'm restarting my dynasty for a couple reasons.

1. Updated rosters
2. I wasted some coaching points
3. I am going to take control of teams/coaches and take control of who goes where.

The carousel has its positives and negatives. But for me the negatives are that too many bum coaches are getting job offers that they have no business getting.

Just last night the Memphis coach got a HC offer from FSU. The problem is ..... Memphis was 5-7 in the season. This way too I can control and accept coordinators getting HC jobs.

In another post, a few people said it still wasn't working. I just verified it myself, and you still have to go back in and change it when the game starts...smh

I did. The only dynasties I played I was in year 2 of my "serious" one, and year 3 or 4 in my test one that was mostly simming. I got a refund for the game ~July 24 though so after rebuying yesterday I figured I'd just restart. Only drawback for me was I had edited a pre-existing coach in my first dynasty so he had a head start level wise. Without being able to fully customize the coach I chose to start with a new coach at level 1 for my new dynasty. But on the plus side I can spec him any way I want now with no investment into areas I wouldn't want.

Kicking method is either tap/hold (default) or tap/tap.

Tap/hold you press A to stop the side to side accuracy meter and continue to hol it while power meter fills and release when you want it to stop.

Haven’t done tap/tap, but it’s gotta be tap to stop the accuracy meter and then power fills without holding and then you tap A again to stop it.

It's for kicking, Tap Tap or Tap Hold. If you are of the Tap Tap variety, when you enter Dynasty mode, apparently it automatically switches your setting back to Tap Hold.
