    Idea: Revered Uniform Numbers

Much like giving a player a captaincy, schools should have revered numbers, that can be assigned to plays.
Such as bestowing the 11 to the best linebacker at Penn State.
    Or Ohio State's 0
    7 at LSU

    Anyone got more?

For awhile #1 at Michigan was reserved for a big time wide receiver. Anthony Carter wore it, then Derrick Alexander and David Terrell. When Braylon Edwards wanted it Lloyd Carr told him he needed to earn it and then gave it to him after his sophomore season.

Michigan had a thing for a few years where certain numbers were like legend numbers and were given to the best players on the team. That's how Quarterback Devin Gardner ended up wearing #98 (in honor of Heisman winning Running Back Tom Harmon).

I do think at minimum they should program it so that a school's retired numbers aren't given out to freshmen in dynasty mode, not sure if they've done that yet.
