Agree.
I’m seeing too many cases where the ball bouncing a lot before goes in.
That frequency should be tuned down

No. It’s perfect as it is. The bounces around the rim add suspense, just like in a real game. I’m convinced no one plays or watches basketball.

You must be misinterpreting what I’m saying. The ball will literally bounce 3-5 times before going in.

yeah I'm wondering if it depends on your shot type. For Real FG% users, looks like it rattles around on the rim very frequently, too. I may lower the shot timing slider and see if I get more variety, but for shot meter players - it makes perfect sense as is.

OP isn't asking why it isn't swish everytime he shoots.

I think he expects more ball rim interaction variety as Mike Wang previously said that there would be.

I wish there would be more back of the rim type of shots.
Like as soon as it hits the back of the rim, it suddenly goes down.

but no, even as an online player I love the bounces…there are still plenty of swishes.

I'll admit, shots do rim more than they probably should. But after seeing nothing but swishes last year I'm fine with it. It's not the rim shots that bother me so much as the amount of 3 pointers that bounce straight up and go in. They could tone down the frequency a but but I'll take what we have now over all swishes.

My point exactly! It’s the 3-balls that are irritating me. No one should expect it to happen that much from that range.

I agree! We need more back of the rim baskets! I also agree with the OP, the new rim physics are nice but the ball does seem to bounce around the rim a little too frequently now. I definitely don't want every shot being a swish, but they can tone the bouncing off the rim down just a little.
