Now that the rotation bug is fixed there is still another annoying issue I don't know if I can get rid of myself: In the middle of the games coaches change the matchups without any logic. I am playing the Grizz against the Magic right now and in the middle of the game JJJ starts defending Suggs and Edey is on Franz Wagner. Then I see in the individual settings that those matchups are set, even though I deactivated the adaptive coaching.

I saw it with opponents as well. Anyone having an idea what this is?

I wonder if it’s a points in the paint issue where they assign the best interior defender on the person scoring the most inside

My career dunk packages i see that the vince carter dunk package isnt there why did they delete it ? ��

There are only a handful tonpick from and they remove one of the best dunkers in nba history ????

Am i missing somerhing or overlooking ? I have a 93 driving dunk and Vince carter sig dunk package is t there to buy ....it was always there in previous 2ks...

I've had something similar happen pre-patch. I can't remember the exact matchups but playing against the 76ers with the Celtics, Jrue Holiday was randomly assigned to Embiid while Porzingis was on a guard (Maxey maybe). Pretty sure I did an on the fly adjustment and it switched back a few plays later (possibly after a sub).

Definitely something to keep an eye on.

My biggest fear at the moment and the usual thing that ends up destroying decent sports games when the Ultimate Team crowd cries they can't make every single shot..... The game has its issues for sure, but this is the first one I have enjoyed since 2K13. They will likely damage more than they will fix at this point. Leave it alone 2K!

The short man closeouts are hilarious. Watching point guards sprint out to get shot over like a chair is one of the best 3 additions to the game.

If they plan on changing shooting, they should just do it for Park or Rec or whatever those folks play. The HOF, and SS sliders for real NBA games should stay difficult. Having 3 point shooting in the 40’s and 30’s on average adds so much to the game.

I have no idea why anyone would want to shoot 60 or 70 percent from three. Hurts my ears to even hear it.

I played my first ever Play Now online game and the opponent quit early in the 2nd half. Probably because I was playing methodically running plays, score was close when he quit. I don't think I'll play another online game tbh. Dreadful. I was trying to playing some proper basketball and the other guy was running around the court, so weird. I was also playing on ball defense because I heard online gamers don't like off ball.
The experience was so bad it took me 10 minutes to adapt playing against cpu afterwards.
That said, the game should have the online portion and features downloaded optionally separately with the gameplay they like. I may try again online if there's a mode where people play like me but I don't have a clue if such mode exists for sim players.

You should add people from here to play or try to find a league with likeminded people.

For those with the PC version and a decent computer, have you noticed any performance issues?

Steam users usually (always) complain that Denuvo/anti-cheat negatively impact the performance of PC sports video games; see Fifa

I'm a strictly offline player trying to decide which version to get - I usually lean PC because of mods

This game is SO SO SO good. I can't explain how much I'm enjoying myself every single game I play. The above is on default SS sliders (only increased the mid-range attempts by a little).



So far I only played the older eras and this was my first attempt at a full modern era game and I was astonished how much they managed to make the difference in gameplay from 2010 to today obvious.



LBJ era is much slower, scores are in the low 100s, and it took me more than half the game against Magic here to adapt to MUCH faster pace, many more 3s attempted, many more transition opportunities and attacks by AI...


Just fantastic
