Re: Roster update
I mean, it’s been three games. Players have bad stretches. There are a few guys whose PFF (assuming you mean their grades) grades would have them be down the depth chart, although they have been all Americans in the past. I’d rather not leave that up to AI. (Acknowledging that EA ratings aren’t great either).Comment

Re: Roster update
That's a cool story and all but "all of the wrong numbers" is a very relative concept. What is wrong to you may not be wrong to the next guy, or the next guy. This is why the ratings modifications aren't released live or as often as some people would prefer. Dropping someone's rating because they had a bad game is too knee-jerk when we all have [or should learn/train ourselves to have] the same mental capability of zooming out and looking at the bigger picture of the college football season and its landscape.Comment

I don’t care about the numbers or ratings of the default rosters, but in what way could a number being wrong to the guy you quoted not be wrong to the next guy or the next guy?
If, for example Donovan Edwards wears #7 in real life, but EA’s roster has him wearing #6, then I fail to understand how that could be “a very relative concept.” A player’s number being incorrect is what it is, relativity be damned.Favorite Teams:

I reread your post and maybe you’re just misunderstanding his post. Maybe you thought he meant “I just want all the wrong ratings fixed” and you’re responding with that in mind.
In fact, I’m 95% sure he meant the wrong jersey numbers, like I meant in my initial response.Favorite Teams:

You are correct. Being able to fix positions would be great as well. It’s annoying when a team is heavy at LT or ROLB vs RT or LOLB and the depth chart is screwed up because of it.

Re: Roster update
At least it’s not as bad as it could’ve been if they had used the same depth chart rules as ‘14. I’m pretty sure in ‘14 they’d only play LT @ LT and RT @ RT. At least in ‘25 they’ll start the 2 best tackles, guards, OLBs, etc regardless of if they’re right or left.Favorite Teams:
