I'll be the first to admit, that I was big time on CFB being a reskin of Madden.

NOW, I really wish Madden would PLEASE BE a reskin of CFB

Get rid of all this garbage media, scenarios, game planning. Make HFA meter the same as CFB and the ss/xf. Put the defense in CFB in Madden. WOW was that a nice touch. Almost to defensive for college, but I love it. Who would of thought, college, a offensive style game has better defense then a NFL thats suppose to be more defensive

CFB actually is a lot more similar to Madden under the hood than people say. Lot of tuning differences.

Its just my opinion but I don't think they could reskin Madden to be more like CFB any more than they could reskin CFB to be more like Madden. I think the rules of the pro game compared to the college game play as much a part of giving each their own particular feel as do the field itself, i.e. where the hashmarks are and the goalpost sizes. Its seemingly such a minor difference but these nuances really do significantly impact each. And don't get me started on crowd fans in the stands. Fans attending a college ball game and fans attending a pro game are as different as the gathering at a nightclub on a Saturday night and a gathering at a church the following morning. And honestly I wouldn't have it any other way, because what would be the point in having two games exactly alike. They need to be as different as yin and yang.

What would be cool is if you could marry the two closer together and have NFL teams play CFB teams. Jaguars vs FSU, Lions vs Michigan, USC vs Rams, Bills vs Syracuse. Even if I thought I'd probably lose playing as a college team vs the NFL, it would still be an interesting challenge.

I am glad they did not. I like Maddens gameplay more than college football.

I'm watching some madden 25 gameplay and I have to say, I didn't really believe them when they said ncaa was going to have a totally different feel but I was willing to suspend my disbelief. But watching it does look a lot different than I expected. Like the players have no weight in madden. They're just gliding around with no momentum

Has all madden gotten any more difficult on simulation? I was robo QB the last few games I played against the CPU it wasn't even fun just 80+% completion.

Usually I hear people saying it's the other way around.

My personal opinion is that the differences in the game only really come from the different nature of pro vs college football.

Exactly I feel like both games represent their respective leagues. College has always been like this, at least since 2010. That's why it's so great to finally have a college game back in the mix. I'm more of a college fan, really only get into the NFL when it's playoff time.

Yeah, and that's why I disagree with a lot of the people saying CFB plays better than Madden. IMO, if you feel that way, it's because you just prefer college football over pro football, not necessarily because one game plays better.
