If your enjoying it cool but when i see stuff like 55 in length knowing how much trough the years and specially this year whit player kinda stuck in position that much of a gap in length is kinda crazy i rather stick whit the OS and Matt10 sliders and get my personal tweak cause we can all have a different view of how football is played but here it’s a team of guy working on the sliders to get the best we can whit what we have but again to each is own that’s the beauty of offline play!!

But Sliders can't resolve my biggest problem. Players don't scan space arount they. I had situations in counter attacks for example, when player has empty flank, but he stop and thats all. Seems like that they are very strongly attached to the sectors of their roles. And i meet it not only in fast attacks - in positioning attack offen the same. And i am not sure that it is possible to fix by sliders
And i started play with 6 mins half, but with Matt sliders 8 mins half feels much betterComment

Just wanted to say a big thanks for the sliders every year. This year I thought it's gonna be hard because of the players positions, especially CB's. It just felt way to easy, with the sliders now, it's so much better even though I'm still playing on Old Gen. I increased some settings here and there (errors, ft control and GK ability) and I'm so in love with the gameplay. I play on ultimate difficulty with semi pass and manual shooting, and the games are all so good. It's the first time I really need to think about where and how I pass the ball. I really missed that feeling. The final results of the games are really good. Before I had some games 5-3, 7-0, 6-2, now the results are (ManUTD player career playing full team) 2-1 PSV, 1-1 Leicester, 3-1 IPS, 3-2 Galatasaray, 2-1 Everton, 2-3 Arsenal, 1-1 Barca. And even tho I still win good amount of games, it's everything but easy. It really feels like I need to work for it. Against Barca I only got 4 shots the whole game, they played so good. I love it. Certainly seems worth changing the CPU sliders to affect engagement.
I was steam rolling teams before but now it feels a lot more balanced

I get the fear no one testing wants the game to get hectic and crazy...it just has yet to play out that way because two things I think
Its not random. It takes the base tactical sliders and just scales up or down from that a certain percentage. So no matter how many times I play Man City their build up speed never exceeded 30 ( I think that was the highest).
Second, I do not think the effects of the sliders are as drastic as they might sound. I have seen crosses on 0 crossing. I see patience from teams at times on 90+ build up speed. So far it just hasn't played as I have feared but more as I hope. Again open to more data.Comment

I'm just confused. You said you had it set to tactical/dynamic and you're seeing those numbers go up and down in that menu? For me the values are grayed out and stay at 50.Comment

I play FUMA - PS5 - 6 min - World class
Maybe because the half is 6 minutes, almost all my matches end 0:0. I play Bournemouth in the Premier League. I set up my tactics, the opponent just passes the ball around all the time, practically does not develop attacks. And it does not really matter who I play against: Leicester, Everton, Manchester City. They just can't score against me, and I can't score against them) At first I played on Tactics, then I tried Dynamic, there is a difference, but the score is still 0:0. I will try to set up the AI behavior manually, or change the difficulty to legendary or increase the half time.

I'm having a tough time beating the keepers on FUMA as well. They make some absolutely ridiculous saves sometimes and so does the human gk for that matter. This is on legendary btw. I'm gonna most likely lower gk ability little by little.

non slider related question but has anyone found a way to replicate the 4-3-3 holding formation with a CDM, CM and CAM that you can no longer make in FC25? I was by far and away my favourite way to set teams up in FC24 and every 4-3-3 I play now just has 40 yards between a flat midfield 3 and the front 3, even with a False 9.Comment

I think this is what Matt will eventually do. Neither tactical or dynamic seem to do anything to have the CPU form meaningful attacks. But if you manually affect the values you can at least see a change. My only worry is that each will just play the exact same way. Unfortunately there's still zero fouls unless you put handballs on. I really wish these games would offer more than a hint at a potentially good game that isn't then weighed down by a truck load of frustrations. I won't even get into the locked formations and being able to move players into your desired positions...

Playing as Man U testing sliders, playing Bournemouth. Noticing in my game they are playing very direct. Split strikers being fed balls very quickly and looking to attack my goal at pace. I thought boy that is interesting. Down 2-0. A bit nervous I had sprint too high or something in sliders. No all normal. CPU behavior sliders on dynamic but build up speed around 45. Ok interesting lets restart.
On restart of the file I first check the Opponent Analysis before the game and they report they are playing a KICK AND RUSH tactic. SOFIFA and the team sheet in the main menu Bournemouth are set to balanced build up. I think ok maybe its just a glitch. Go into play and again they are playing Kick and rush quick. Restart game again. Repeat. Opponent Analysis says Kick and Rush, play the game but this time they are playing like short passing and higher line that their default tactics say.
I test this on both Dynamic and tactical cpu behavior so I am sure this is something separate to that. So my theory is that when "smaller" clubs go up against a better side they sometimes adjust their tactics. Find Brentford in the calendar and sim to them. Opponent Analysis says Kick and Rush despite Brentford's default being Balanced and High Line.
Decide to start a fresh save with Ipswich. Sim to the Bournemouth game. Sure enough they are now Wing Play, short passing and high line in the Opponent Analysis.
All this tested on both Dynamic and Tactical
So my early theory is that there is some adjustment by the CPU in their tactics based on opponent but the opponent analysis will sometimes be wrong (probably lineup and tactics don't always match up what happens in the match) but this would be fairly realistic. Wonder if others are seeing this shifting of tactics.Comment
