I just make new save files at different points in the offseason (ie 2024recap, 2024playersleaving, 2024training, etc)

That's ridiculous, EA went through that with Madden NFL Football.

You will never have enough stuff to look back on inside a sports video game IMO. There’s just no way they could keep all that data, nor know what you want.

For my spreadsheet in ‘14 I had tons of stuff including (but certainly not limited to):

• Career coaching record including record @ each school, record @ home, away, vs rivals, vs top 25, in playoffs
• Record vs every team I’ve faced in a sortable list
• Career, season, and game stats for every player I’ve ever coached in sortable lists
• Complete coaching career of every coordinator that’s worked for me and moved on to HC jobs.
• Entire coaching carousel for every season to track what coaches went where and when.

I've been screenshotting the CFP bracket when it's completed each year. I am confident next year we will get a lot of QOL things inside dynasty mode, and better start tracking/dynasty history is one of them.

Yeah for sure. I think CFB25 is awesome but is clearly a building block in some areas, really looking forward to CFB26 as it’ll likely be more of the developers full vision. I bet we get a ton of QoL stuff across the board too.

The awards screen on the player card doesn’t work either. It’s always blank, even in the year the player won the award.

Had to do some digging, but this looks to be version 2.0 of it. I started with version 1.01 a while ago and edited it for my own needs then, so not sure how different his 2.0 is from the 1.01 I started with, but after a quick glance it’s definitely the same base template I used.
