I have to say this. Played two games only with default sliders (allstar difficulty) and I already know that this is the best NHL video game since NHL14. AI is very good.

Can not wait to try your sliders PK. [emoji1377]
I think my NHL23 journey is over. For example skating is like night and day. Can’t go back when you feel NHL25 skating etc.

Very good news that you got the game and you like what you see so far. Yes, in my books, like I said in a thread on the main page, 25 will be seen as a cornerstone in the franchise.

Some little things they have to adjust/fix, but all in all, a GREAT GAME !

Now EA, please get rid of the passing icons and one timer targets on the ice…. At least give an option to remove it. I want my screen as clean as it can be.

Ok boys and girls, I’m coming up with a another slider set that will shake up the foundations of PK's club 😀

The speed, the gaps, the fractions of a second gameplay that I always wanted to achieve in 23. But with better skating and animations of 25 is playing incredible right now !!!

Ok boys and girls and members of PK's club, after playing 5 games last night with the new setup, and watching a game on True Broadcast Legacy, I feel very confident in saying, I think I found the HOLY GRAIL of setups. At least from my eyes. I will post the new values shortly.

That was a box score with the new setup. Look at how the HITS and pass % are more accurate. The pass percentage tells me that there less open space because of the reaction time being reduced. Not because of pass being bobbled and whatnot. Heck, I even upped the pass reception ease at 20 and puck control at 50 😳

Maybe I’m going nuts, but I’ve never played a hockey game like this. This is my dream come true 😀

Tried a couple games with the new set. Everything seems good except that the penalties are way too high. More for the user than CPU. Halfway through a game and the cpu is 2/8 on the PP. I’m 0/0. Seems like changing the size effect really has upped the penalties. Most the calls are elbowing or boarding.

Maybe a couple of odd games ? Cause as the box score showed against Utah, the Habs (me) had 6 PP and Utah 2… So far had really liked all aspects of the game including the penalties which are from 6 to 9 calls per game.

And on top of this, my 1-3-1 is getting very good… Never thought I’d say this in EA hockey ever 😀

Thanks for trying the new set and keep the feedback coming. I will continue to monitor penalties on my end….

Would it be possible for someone to upload a video of these in action? I'm currently trying to save up for an xbox since my hopes of a PC release were dashed again and I'm just dying to see how this game looks with no agility or acceleration.

You have read my mind KvltBear, lol ! I’m planning on uploading a few clips of gameplay. But the USB key I was using for 23 is giving me a few problems lately… As a graphic junkie I wanted to upload in 4K, but maybe I’ll have to do 1440P (2K) for a bit.

Not promising anything, but will try to upload something for PK's club maybe this evening. Stay tuned 😀
