And as an aside, the weather conditions on, just some water on the pitch seems to make the players as stop / start as the ball. Just doesn’t feel fluid to control their movement.

Nothing has changed when it comes to game speed with simulation sliders. Better show us footage with so called ''wrecked experience'' because you sounds overdramatic a little bit

So I'm the only one having these issues then? Clearly not. The game speed has changed, the difficulty is much lower for some reason on top. Are you saying that a tough battle with Monaco to scrape a 1-0 win (and other games being a challenge too) and then post update battering Alaves 5-0 with an average Everton side, plus being 4-0 up against Willem II with Accrington bloody Stanley on all the same settings are the same exact game?

It gets frustrating when you buy a game at that price, have to wait for sliders to play it...have a few days of enjoyment out of it then EA patch it and bugger the game up again so you have to shelve it once more. Then you have some random accuse you of being overdramatic on a forum for pointing out what has changed so people can look into it. Pipe down. You don't speak for everyone just because it *seems* the same for you.

I still feel that we play different game. Problem is, there is not a lot of people that claim there is any significant difference with game speed. That's why u should show us gameplay footage then i will report it to EA if there is any problem, why you don't want to do this? Your anecdotal evidence will not help here.

No offense to anyone, but people need to take some time before saying anything definitive about the gameplay post update. 1 match isn't enough, 1 day isn't enough. Give it a few days (at least) before forming an opinion. Play with a ton of different teams, 5 star all the way down to 1 star.

at 90 injury frequency and 15 severity I'm seeing a good amount of in game injuries but nothing substantial to force me to make substitutions. if 25 is too high and 15 is too low maybe 20 is the sweet spot? or maybe leave it at 15 and bump up the injury frequency instead?

I have played well over 20 games after the patch. I honestly got excited by the patch notes and thought it would improve the gameplay where is was really lacking.

It hasn't imo.

Far too many games the AI don't even have a shot let alone score a goal. The actual intelligence of AI is just awful at present. I really don't know where to go with this anymore.

Is Ultimate broken? Anyone finding Legendary harder?

There seems to be very passive cpu since the update, playing as Real Madrid I can through ball & score virtually every single time with Mbappe, least before there was resistance.

They nerfed the defense of the cpu players (players team and cpu opponent). Online crowd cried that the cpu defense was "too good " and that therefore the skill gap wasn't big enough.

As i see it the defense was pretty sound positionally before the patch- although way too passive. After the patch they are more or less pylons standing around. It's horrible imo.

Has anyone seen the new customization options for injuries and suspensions at the career mode setup??

All the injuries available you can start your players on. Why the hell do these injuries not appear when playing the game and you only get broken toes??? The fact the injury varieties are actually in the game but don't appear is embarrassing.

An the correct suspension lengths for red cards etc.. is also there but they can't be arsed to code the correct rules.

It's these little things that show Career mode is genuinely an afterthought. It's so sad.

Noticed it too. At least I can start a CM with most of my Rangers team injured. So it’ll be like for a while lol

Well the FUT crowd has cried the loudest again haven’t they. After playing a lot more games I can tell they have dumbed down the AI defenders.

They stand around & do nothing now, they won’t even put a tackle in, you can literally run full length of the pitch without being tackled.

I definitely wasn’t seeing this before the last patch. Not even sure if any sliders can fix this, even AI behaviour one for tackle at 99 doesn’t make it better.

The AI Settings are vital this year. I get the critique concerning the passive AI. With tactical or dynamic AI Settings the AI behaviour is extraordinarily passiv, off and on the ball, this goes the same with custom 50s AI Settings. So I bumped up the build up speed play and the Shot Range slider and this seems to do wonders. I get at least 10 to 15 shots of the AI from all around the pitch, plus a high value concerning tackle aggressiveness which will produce some amount of cards which I like. At least we have the chance to tweak the game with sliders I guess.

One strange thing I have noticed in my CM. I almost always get extra time of 1 or 2 Minutes no matter the amount of goals or fouls during the game but barley 4 or 5 minutes. Anyone else noticed that?
