    "Hidden" Attributes in Dynasty

So I notices a couple of player stats that only show up for 1 week of the year in Dynasty.

During the encourage transfers week in the off season, there are 2 stats that pop up: "Throw Accuracy Rating" and "Running Style"

"Throw Accuracy Rating" is completely separate from short, medium, or deep accuracy or even throw power. Generally, this rating for QBs ranges from around 10-35 or so. The highest rating I have ever seen for this stat was from my punter for Boston College, who had a Throw Accuracy rating of 54.

"Running Style" is a very strange stat. I have seen it range from 1-15. However, in a dynasty with a few friends we are around 10 years in and every player for everyone's' team had a running style of 1, meaning maybe new players that are generated by the game automatically have a running style of 1?

I have not seen a single other person talk about these 2 stats, so I thought I would ask yall and maybe we can figure out what this effect (affect?).

Maybe running style is like the “qb style” when editing QBs, which I’m pretty sure is simply which throwing animation style is used by the QB. Running style sounds like which running animation style would be used.

This is why I wish we had a way to edit saves in this game. So many different things under the hood.

IMO the most likely explanation is that these ratings are legacy database fields, are not used by the current engine, and their visibility in the encourage transfer screen is unintended (a bug).

Have you noticed different kinds of running animation styles?

That’s not the kind of thing I’d notice. I know there are multiple throwing motions, but again, I’d never notice it.

That sounds like a possible explanation that is consistent with the OP's observation that every player had a Running Style of 1 after 10 years. 14 had a field named Discipline that ranged from 1 -- 6 and you would only see it in the Dynasty editor rather than in the game. The speculation on these boards were that was left over from when players could get suspended for behavior or academic reasons. New players would have different values for this field, but I played with it (setting all on my team to 6 and then 1) and saw no difference in their performance.

Running style is the animation the player uses. If you use a neon league export with madden and look at their traits you will see it listed as "Default", "Long Stride Lose", "Short Stride Default", "Default Loose", "Long Stride Default", etc.
