Controlling the whole team you may shut them down since it's not cpu on cpu for most of the positions or you may take players out of position allowing more goals. A couple things you could do to tune it for the difference is adjust the shot accuracy, reduce puck control, increase the cpu difficulty slider.

Played just 1 game with them so far, and I enjoyed the gameplay. Actually lost.

I will probably add a little bit of Fatigue recovery, and maybe up the USER pass accuracy a slight bit, but overall they played well.
