    How to defend direct snap?

Playing a guy and he's terrible except for 1 play, i cant stop? How do you defend the direct snap out of shotgun?

We have a different experience. I run (Multiple offense) HB Direct from the Gun Trips HB Weak formation. The HB lines up on the left side of the QB and runs it up the middle. If this is the type of play he's facing, an OLB blitz is doing him a favor. Pinch the DL. (Left D Pad -> LS Down) or slant the DL to the middle as well as the LBs if needed. The game "cheats" this play (a gaping hole up the middle), which is why I have a house rule that I have to be cheated by the CPU before I can run this play. I have not defended this, but that is what I'd do. I will be interested to know what you find that works.

BTW: What defense do you run?

I run mostly cover 3 underneath. Out of 4-3 and base nickel.

The user direct snap and ran wide 90% of time. I had no one in space to tackle him. My Lb's were caught inside and and corners blocked.
