Airballs

Are they even a thing on 2k25. I'm pretty sure I used to see airballs a lot more on previous versions. I've seen airballs of course when trying a last second shot from a long distance. But do airballs ever happen when shooting from normal 3 point range for example because I can't remember seeing one.

Not an airball but i once saw a contested layup that hit the backboard but not the rim.

Yes, they are. I think you have to time the shot really bad in order see them.
Airballing wide open 3s is not for everyone.
