To Re-Do or not to Red-Do...that is the question? (Roster Edits)

    Good afternoon everyone.
Its the age old problem that has spanned lifetimes (well....the last 20 years)
    You know how it is....
Man buys game, Man hates EAs Ratings, Man starts 2 month process of re-editing EVERY player, Wife leaves Man, Man gets new Wife, Man likes his Edits, EA brings out new Roster, Man hates EA.....we have all been there, right?....Right?

Literally saved the final attribute of my entire Roster re-work when EA drops the NEW PATCH with the Coaches....but as the Hockey Gods would have it, the data ISNT in the Patch, its in the Roster Update.

I dont think I have the stomach, the will, or the relationship stability to have to Re-Do the entire Roster again, so I might just have to curb my autism and "Go With the EA one"----so before I do, is there ANYTHING particularly heinous/glarring with the new EA Roster that I must correct....

Hope you are all good---I think I might start smoking again...lol
    With regards
    Johnny

If anything I'd look at faceoffs for centers and durability for everyone since 99% are at 85
    ROSTERS
    NHL 2015 - 2025
    Madden 2018 - 2025
    FHM 2017 - 2022

Ahhhh thank you----I might do a quick skim over the NEW Roster rather than my usual in depth......otherwise i will spend most of the year editing rather than playing.

I am right there with you, and my wife noticed and said "I thought you have already done this, like every night". and my only response that made the most sense was "...But you don't understand, it has coaches now"...

Her look was the same look I got when I put a rotten apple on my fifth grade teachers desk back in 1983, and when she walked in, she knew it was me...I got swats in that instance, but I think we are beyond that in 2024, so I am looking at everything I eat with a careful eye, and if anything tastes funky, I just need to throw it out... Poison control is on speed dial until I get done with the edits...

If you keep bowing down and praising the developers, (NHL series) nothing they give us the consumer will ever be a "finished" product. Take a stand, it is your money!!!.

                Just had a awful thought.....

My Hockey nerdiness/hockey autism went into overdrive this week at the arrival of "real coaches"----I had halted my 2 month long Edit marathon, to "start again" (see original post)
HOWEVER, it crept into my brain last night , what will I do if one of those coaches gets sacked?
Could my brain cope still seeing , for example Jim Montgomery (sorry Monty), if he was sacked , STILL behind the Bruins bench ?

Yeah, I checked yesterday after I had my own Hockey autism moment... There are no other real coaches available if you want to fire and add a new one. I too was curious as to what the options were... I am fine with the actual coaches in the game as of now, but it would be nice to expand it to others that are available who are out there and maybe add AHL and some overseas coaches that can be hired as replacements in your Franchise in multiple areas, not specific to just an NHL head coach...

Great to meet you buddy--My Wife (bizarrely) opted to be a CBJ fan after the Covid year, so theres a lot of "Blue Jakeys" love in our home in Northern England.
