Real Player Faces vs Generated Faces

Comparing Madden 25 to CFB25, are your franchises more immersive in madden just because you get a better picture of who the player really is, in comparison to cfb25s generated player faces?

Re: Real Player Faces vs Generated Faces

I prefer not having real player pictures in the game like Madden has it. If Madden would simply show the face scans in game instead of an actual picture, I'd find that more immersive than how it is now with the pictures.

It's jarring in Madden to have a roster mixed with real and fake players. When you scroll through the roster you'll see a real picture, then a fake face, then a real picture, etc. I'd rather it be consistent player to player like it is in CFB25.

What CFB25 also has going for it is that the faces are all generated and not pre-set faces like in Madden, so you get plenty of variety. You get some players that look similar, but no clones. In Madden, after 5 drafts you can literally have 50 players sharing the same 3 faces and that's just another thing that is jarring.

Only thing Madden does better is having realistic demographics generated for each position. I hope CFB26 follows suit there.

Good point there, I didn't even think about that being an issue.

This happened in the NBA Live series and it killed all immersion as literally everybody on the team after about 6 years had the exact same faces. Madden can do better than that. I'm with you on this.

I don’t mind the generated faces, but I wish there was more believable selections and less mexicans with combovers or blonde dudes with giant beards lol
