Know a guy that works for Jerry in a promo capacity; he's off the opinion they will be selling the team.

If it's the SPIF, I'm out.
Jerry would never sell the Cowboys. He is exactly like Al Davis.
When Jerry dies, maybe Stephen sells them.

30 Years and what 2 playoff wins? The NFL should ban owners
from being GM's. I never thought we were serious contenders.
But I thought they would at least be competitive.

They never seem to have a plan. McCarthy is not going to be
here next year. They should try to find his replacement now.
He would probably he happy to be fired.

Jerry has been blamed a TON over the years, often unnecessarily IMO. However, I think the lumps are justified bc his missteps are so glaring.

        - The Trey Lance trade debacle. I understood the effort as there were reasons why you’d want insurance in a contract showdown with Dak. But the pick was too high in real time and looks terrible now bc Trey can’t play.

        - Staring Dak down in a contract negotiation just to break in the 24th hour and give him the same contract you would’ve gave him in the spring. The offseason was compromised. Not to mention Dak’s play dipped precipitously which should give every fan indigestion.

        - Giving another 4th for Mingo with Dak now done for the season. Oy!

        - Needless stubbornness on the curtains at the stadium

        - McCarthy lame duck

This would be an IDEAL time for Jerry to surprise everyone and take on a reduced role.

Reduced role is not going to happen. One of the reasons Bill would not
come to Dallas is Jerry hated the Parcells era. Since Parcells, Jerry has not
hired a Coach with that kind of grit. He hires yes men..

My pipe dream is Vrabel coming to Dallas. His teams were never highly
penalized and could win close games.

Yeah, I’m in no way optimistic that Jerry will take on a less visible role. I just think it’s run its course having the owner speak post game at the same time as the head coach. That’s a specific example of course, but I wonder jf we’ll get the best coach candidates at this point bc who wants to deal with that? There’s something foul about speculating on McCarthys job security at the same time McCarthy is at the podium.

I DREAM of a time where Jerry realizes he doesn’t want to “Al Davis” this team with his understandable ineptitude at his advanced age.

Vrabel is also my pick for the record. However, I’d love for Dallas to do a thorough search and not just chase names we all know. Go off the grid, search high and low. I want the next HC to be a non-typical Cowboys hire.

I was out when MM wasn't fired after the loss to GB in the playoffs.

Get rid of everyone. No on one this team is worth keeping at present, aside from an OL or two, K, and Overshown.

Parsons is a head case and egomaniac. Regardless, I highly doubt he'd re-sign.

Last years team could not run block, but they were pretty good at
pass blocking. This year they can't do either.

Steele is really bad. Guyton is the worst starting LT in the NFL.
Martin is done. Too beat up. Smith is the only good lineman
                we have.

With Martin probably done for the year. I would like to see
Hoffman and Bass play. Maybe move Beebe to guard.

I think firing Mike now would be best for both Dallas and him.
Raiders, Giants, Bears, Jags are all looking for their
next coach. Make someone interim and start interviewing guys.

Steele was never great although had flashes of being solid. It's Martin completely ****ting the bed that has turned that side of the line into a complete disaster.

Guyton is still young and raw... he has time to develop. I think Beebe will be fine.

I’m indifferent on firing McCarthy now. I could justify it, but don’t care to see it bc I don’t think the next coach is on our staff. There’s no one I really care to get a look at running the show.

With the Raiders, Giants, Jag's all looking for coaches. I think waiting too
                      long they could lose out.

Not that it matters much, Jerry will probably hire Witten, which I am
                      not a fan of..

With the defense getting healthy, I'm worried about what's to come.

I don't think it will, as no shot we beat Cincy, but we could legitimately be 7-7 with Tampa coming in.

Hoff and Bass were great. I'm all for moving Smith to LT and Guyton to RT, and experimenting with that group.
