There's a handful of little things that get on my nerves a bit in CFB 25

No Bald Coaches thus Can't Re-Create a PJ Fleck and various other Coaches.

Every time you Redshirt a player your entire Depth Chart resets even if that player wasn't a starter or a backup.

You have no ability to see what your coordinators preferred scheme is until the manage staff screen at the end of the season. (unless I'm missing it)

No notification or heads up that a coach left your staff. You have to manually look, IMO there should be a BIG heads up.

There's no way to tell if you previously scouted a player from the prospect list until you re add them to the board. (unless I'm missing it)

    No medical Redshirts.

Computer starts spamming injury timeouts like crazy if they are losing including using your players to do so.

This might be fixed but at one point... some of the things in scheduling a visit were out of left to right order for some reason and it made no sense. minor issue but mildly annoying.

The overall menu system in dynasty, especially recruiting where you have to back out of a menu to remove hours vs 14 where all you had to do was flick the stick IIRC. When I first got the game I on multiple occasions accidently double backed out and held triangle thus removing the player entirely by accident!

Still a fun game but these things make me go bananas sometimes.

You called out a specific one I had and was reviewing again today (hoping they updated the coach options in CFB25.) I'm 62, tall and thin, bald on top, and used to have a goatee...most games I can essentially make a character that clearly represents me. This game my coach stand-in looks like a 30-year-old former linebacker that's getting a little soft round the middle...and no one would ever guess that's supposed to be me, now or in the past. At least if they gave you a hat option, it would be in the ballpark.

Worse for me, though, is the fact that when my Fighting Irish play at home, a lot of our fans wear Michigan jerseys! Ugh.

Overall, loving the game though. Can laugh about these things, but it'd be a nice quality of life thig if they fixed them.

The depth chart still being based in 1985 will never not irritate me. This is especially egregious on defense where the depth chart uses positions that haven't been used since about 2007 as far as left/right designations. Also the lack of a secondary position for special players is a small annoyance. I love having a Percy Harvin type on my teams but it's a bit rough to simulate in game
        NFL:New England Patriots
        NBA:Boston Celtics
        MLB:Boston Red Sox
        NHL:Boston Bruins
        NCAA:Boston College Eagles

In the era of HD and virtually all screens being wide screen, why do we still have to scroll left to right to see player's ratings? Get player info off the side of the screen and put it across the top, then use the extra width of the screen to show more data.

Lessen the space between columns so we have more columns on screen, and in games like CFB25 and Madden design the screens with each position in mind. There is no reason to have to scroll past throwing power, while looking at your DT, to find his "tackling" ability or any other ability tied to his position. By all means have every rating on the "all players" screen, but once you open position "X" you should only be looking at skills that apply to position "X".

If you scouted and removed him because he is a bust, you can see a faint bust icon in the lower left area of the player window.

The first week you are recruiting (offseason, first week of Transfer Portal), the menu item is checked before you go begin to load players on your board. Add a player to your board and it will be unchecked until you assign all you your hours. This got me yesterday because I had to leave and thought I had already recruited when I got back.

Coaches are not associated with a specific playbook. Dynasty year 2 and my OC left for HC of App State and I hired an OC who runs the Spread. I only knew to use the Tulsa playbook because he was OC at Tulsa. This would be less important if we have the coach's real name.

Depth Chart resets also happen when editing a player. I renamed Isaac Tull to Jethro Tull and that change removed him as my starting 3rd Down Back.

When you are going through the national schedule and forcing wins for teams, after you pick who wins, it goes back to the very top of the screen and you have to go all the way back down and find where you left off.

This also happens on the Roster screen. When you open a player's card to view his attributes / abilities, it will reset to the top of the list when you close the card.

My biggest pet peeve with the football games is having to scroll the depth chart for the ratings that actually matter for each position group.

Instead of Blocking Ratings being the first thing that pop up it's way to the right you have to do a ton of scrolling. It doesn't make me not want to play but man is it annoying.

Also in Madden not being able to just play any game in a franchise without making a coach.

In NCAA Football a small pet peeve is when toggling to different positions in the depth chart I would like it show position specific grades. So when I scroll to my kickers it should automatically go to the kick power and kick accuracy instead of forcing the user to scroll all the way over to find those settings. Or when choosing QB start me at throwing power and throwing accuracy.

A little thing in a few games.

In Madden, the weekly schedule with all games doesn't show the team's records.

In MLB The Show when editing a player and leaving that menu, it reverts to the entire roster screen, rather than whatever I'd filtered on.

In a very recent NBA 2K game, if you accessed say the League Expansion menu and backed out of it, when accessing the menu again it would League Expansion would be where the menu was at. Some point in the last few years they changed this where it puts you in the overall menu, but if you access League Expansion it would take you to the place within the League Expansion menu you were just at (this is hard to explain and I didn't do it well, but if you're rebranding multiple teams, it takes slightly longer and it's annoying)

I forgot about the CPU faking injuries at the end of games. This is why the scripting that's in the game bothers me, if they want the CPU to win or make it competitive they'll start resorting to this. And if they get the ball after faking injuries you can guarantee they'll drive down the field flawlessly.

A big gripe for me has always been depth chart issues. It's been broken for so long and they don't care. Why can't you give us an option or toggle to not let the CPU touch it at all? Just alert us we need to fix something.

Redshirting a different player resets the depth chart. Why? You spent 30+ minutes going through it top to bottom but a random freshman redshirting who isn't even on the actual depth chart changes everything? Injuries resets the depth chart. Why? Not just at that position but they change the entire depth chart. If you spend hours changing positions to get the proper LGs and LEs and LOLBs all where they should go and vice versa, the game starts the season with everyone listed left on the right and everyone listed right on the left. They'll randomly take out someone you put there at any given time with zero indication so you'll sometimes go weeks and not catch it or even know.

MLB The Show has that feature where they just alert you and won't let you play until YOU fix your roster or depth chart. If you don't like it you can put it to auto. Why does EA force all of these changes on us? It takes a ridiculous extra amount of time if you truly like to manage your roster. This is such an easy thing to fix but it's been this way for so many years now.

I hate playing generic fake FCS teams. I'd love to be able to play Columbia, Harvard, Yale, Princeton or any Ivy school, or heck, any other FCS school. Even if the rosters were hundred percent fake.

yea, I'm hoping they can start adding real FCS teams, even if its just a Conference at a time each year, if they don't want to make it a "main feature"

Only for busts though right if he's not a bust you have no clue. In 14 i could hit a button and see his scouting results as to why I removed him vs now where I have to re-add him then go 'oh yeah I removed this 5* because he was only 85 speed where as this four star is 95' as an example.

As far as the coaches I know they don't necessarily have to run a specific playbook but I like to always switch to what the screen says they run. I always did this in 14 because you could look at any time. on 25 you have a few weeks window to see what the game says is their "preferred" scheme. not game breaking but strange.

On the injury timeouts, as soon as they start pulling it in a tight game BUCKLE UP because they will stuff anything and everything lol... Runs...forget it! Passes...you're likely to throw wild passes right to them! Trick plays? They will be read like a book, and like you said if they DO get the ball back they are scoring in 3 or less plays no matter what you do....ugh so frustrating!

The depth chart thing was so annoying before I realized what was going on I was in an online dynasty ready to play against my human opponent... Week 1 and I couldn't figure out why my chart kept resetting and he was just sitting there waiting for me wondering what was taking so long, it took me forever to realize that redshirting was causing it and it was best just to do it all in one shot then go back and do my depth chart.

Still drives me bonkers even in offline sometimes because I will think I have everything ready then realize I forgot to redshirt someone and then go 'oh great I can either not redshirt him and risk he gets called up via injury' ...or redo my depth chart for 30 mins.
