Re: NBA 2K25 Attention to Detail Jordan Era Roster (PS5)

First, that's the best looking Barkley I've seen. Absolutely brilliant.

Second, I just downloaded these and I'm thankful that you also spent time on the shoes. I'm a huge sneaker head, I have 187 pairs and that is not including all of my golf cleats (i have at least 8 pairs of Jordan cleats and many more Nike golf shoes. Off topic Nike is releasing the Nike Air TN golf shoes with 7 different colourways). I just wish that 2K would scan more shoes from the 90's. In my opinion that was peak Jordan and Nike basketball. Also, I spend more time making the different colourway of the different shoes worn by players than I do actually playing the game. This roster will help me play more.

Third and most importantly, THANK YOU for the time and effort put into this roster. I would honestly love to see what you could do if 2K allowed you to edit shoes and stuff of that nature that PC users can. Again, thank you. This 51 year old sneaker head truly appreciates it.
I am the lesson after the fall.

Thank you for the kind words Mike.

I'm a fellow sneaker head myself. Speaking of golf, my MyPlayer in PGA Tour 2K23 only wears Jordans--Eastside 4's, White 1's, Wolf Grey 1's and Chicago 1's.

It's tough putting out the kind of complete roster you would like to because users don't have access to your created shoes. For instance, in my personal Jordan Era roster, MJ wears created Hare VII's (below) and not the Carmine VI that I was kind of forced to have him wear. Of course some brands do not match what the player wore in real life (Patrick Ewing for example), but I tried to keep that to a minimum while focusing on the shoes that most closely resembled what a player wore.

I have 24 created Jordan's in the game--22 for MJ and 2 for Kobe (below) in his Era since he wore the Jordan VIII more than any other shoe that season.

It was a pleasure doing this because I like attention to detail but I love shoes even more.

I’ve been tinkering with Reggie Miller and now I’m finally satisfied with his look.
New face and body for Miller in an update tomorrow.

          For 1992:

          For 1998?

Were you able to create the cardinal 7s that he wore in the first half of the 92-93 season?

Yep. I create every “main” shoe Jordan wore for every classic or era team he’s on; I never have him in default Air Jordan’s.

By the way, another update (likely the last) will be posted in early December.

What the best sliders set to use with these rosters. What do you use?
Let go Twins, Vikes, Wild, Golden Gophers go.

Idk the best ones since I haven't really dove into gameplay yet.

Roster update tomorrow--and a big one if you were a fan of the Jordan Era Bulls.

My pleasure. This is likely the final update (never say never), but I wanted to get those tweaks in mentioned in the Notes--especially the ones for Barkley and Miller.

I may have jinxed things by saying that. I updated the roster (version 4) last night after watching CPU vs CPU gameplay and more YouTube Videos. Version 3 got Reggie Miller's free throws true to life, and version 4 has the same for Charles Barkley's jumpshot--which I found is extremely similar to a present-day player.
