Re: Flickering shadows
Is it a day game or night game? I am running the CFP analysis and the game is playing Indiana at Notre Dame and I do not have flickering shadows at 8:00 PM in Notre Dame Stadium.
I wonder if they've introduced a bug I saw when I was watching to view the shadows. Indiana was punting and it was blocked by Notre Dame whose defender hit the punter. 15-yard Roughing the Kicker, which should not have been a penalty since he blocked the kick. -
Re: Flickering shadows
I saw this yesterday and it was really annoying.
Day game @ Ryan Field, Northwestern.
Only seemed to the the shadows of the refs, and occasionally the shadow from the stadium on the field. Never saw it with player shadows (thankfully).
I played @ Michigan state the next game and didn’t see any flickering.
In a possibly related matter, from time to time my replays have crazy bad stuttering. It’s as if the frame rate for some replays (not all) is running at 4 FPS or something ridiculous like that.Favorite Teams:

Re: Flickering shadows
Interesting that the 2 people in this thread that have seen the flickering shadows both had it happen in the same stadium. Hopefully it’s not a game wide bug, but just specific to this stadium (but ideally it gets fixed of course).Favorite Teams:

Re: Flickering shadows
I'm pretty sure this is just a Northwestern stadium issue, noticed it when the game first dropped. Only stadium I've ever seen the issue in.Comment

Re: Flickering shadows
I think that is possible. I did not see this when I ran SMU at Penn State at noon nor while running Clemson at Texas at 3:30.Comment
