LEFT - Mike Yoder utilized the Ducks RPO to perfection in the 2nd half as the JR only missed on one pass while tossing two late TD passes to seal the victory.
CENTER - Andre Bender was under constant pressure as the Ducks brought constant pressure without the threat of the Trojans usually dominant running game.
RIGHT - Brayden Hilliman put on a show usually reserved for PJ Shembo, rushing for 108 yards and this touchdown.

Los Angeles, CA. - The formula on how to beat the Trojans is out, shut down the rushing attack and watch the offense wilt under the pressure.

Now the question is, how many teams have the personnel to accomplish that task? So far, only the Oregon Ducks after they beat the Trojans at their own game in an eventual 38-14 shellacking at The Coliseum.

The Trojans came into the contest averaging a staggering 237 YPG on the ground, but were held to their lowest total of the season with a mere 63 yards against an Oregon defense that has been maligned all season.

Andre Bender started out the game like the undefeated two time National Champion he is, tossing two touchdown passes as the junior completed 8 of 13 passes as he lead the Trojans to a 14-13 halftime lead.

The wheels started to come off late in the 1st half after Bender struggled going 1/5 on the final drive before tossing his 1st INT of the game to set up the Ducks FG as time expired in the half.

Instead of being a blip on the radar that could be chalked up to pressing as the half wore down, the struggles turned into a full blown storm that completely sunk the Trojans offense.

What Trojans fans hoped was a small blip on the radar turned into a full blown storm after Bender's 2nd interception turned into a defensive touchdown before numbers 3 and 4 set up both of Mike Yoder's passing touchdowns in an eventual 38-14 Oregon victory. Bender would finish the afternoon with a 47% completion percentage after going 14/33 to finish the contest (including the last drive in the 1st half) with two touchdowns and four interceptions.

"The passing attack has been pretty inconsistent all season, but we've had the rushing attack to lean on when we had too. Today we didn't have that and it showed," admitted Coach Red after the game.

To the Ducks credit they had the perfect game plan to attack a typically aggressive USC defense, albeit one that is used to playing with a lead, as they used a combination of RPO, hurry up, and a surprisingly punishing rushing attack to score on all but three drives during the contest.

While their win streak may be snapped the season is far from lost for the Trojans, who still sit at the top of the Big Ten at 9-1 with a "trip" to UCLA and a home contest against the Fighting Irish remaining on the slate.
