    Self inflicted frustration

Just curious if anyone has anything they do that frustrates them in this game. Or is it just me.

My personal frustration is when im on defense and I read the play perfectly but i over pursue way to often. Like I read they’re running stretch and I sprint to the area but i was to excited and got there to early and the running back cuts up and gets about [emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]] yards. If i would have been more disciplined I could have made a tackle for a loss. Happens way to much for me.

As for you, strafing on defense (you can also sprint while strafing) makes it a LOT easier to make tackles in the situation you described.

As for me, it’s mainly my interceptions.

I’ll throw some where I need to watch the replay a couple of times to see how in the world it was picked.

I’ll have some where it gets picked and I think “damn! I thought for sure that was a completion! That defender made a helluva play!”

But sadly most of my interceptions go like this.
    I tap the receiver’s button.
1ms later (before the ball even leaves my QB’s hand) I think “whelp, that’s a pick. What the hell was I thinking even throwing that?!?”
Then I have to watch, seemingly as if in slow motion as the ball is thrown right to the defender that’s standing in front of my receiver just waiting for the ball…

Those picks where I know immediately it’s gonna be an interception are my biggest frustration.

I am no pro by any means. I bet you guys are at least playing on All-American, maybe even Heisman. My 50-year-old fingers and lack of football knowledge keeps me on Varsity with adjusted sliders. I tweak them more after each season if my team gets way better, or I am just overpowering the CPU. I will say as far as picks go, I never throw to the WR that appears to be open but by a narrow margin. I do a ton of checkdowns to my HB out of the backfield, mainly when he goes through the O-line and cuts left or right. My HB has more receiving yards than rushing yards some games.

The abundance of pick sixes, guess 2/3 of my picks goes for 6.

Hitting the Wrong WR button and it ending up in a pick. probably half my INTs are because of that or my QB under throwing the WR.

Getting too greedy at the end of the first half and instead of kneeling or running the ball to burn the clock, I throw a pass that ends up being a pick 6 or leads to cheap points for them before halftime. Especially sucks when they get the ball to start the second half. 😤

Being on the goal line, about to score and too many times I try to force a pass instead of pounding a run into the endzone, and throw a pick. I like to get those TD passes because it's two players padding their stats, instead of just one with a TD run.

Getting frustrated on defense. Maybe a couple possessions in a row where it goes south. After that I’ll start getting frustrated and hurrying thru offense. Picking dumb plays. Not reading defense pre coverage and just winging it.

It's definitely the interceptions for me. A lot of them are on me for not reading coverage properly.

Mine is in my Online Dynasty I try to keep Cheese out but guys drop down a Safety breaking my run blocking so I go to constantly passing and trying to scramble abandoning the run when I was doing decent on the ground but feel like I have to score by getting in shootouts instead of being ball control first

Shoot, I even do this in my offline dynasty. Even if the score is tied 7-7 in the first quarter, I will be like, "Oh yall scored on me? Me?" Then I feel like I have to drive down the field and score with only passing plays even though the run game has been working okay.

Another one of mine is feeling like i have to score a one play TD if i feel like the game is getting in a shootout. Especially if i have a multi touchdown lead that gets tied up or i throw a pick 6

Yup. Been there too. Knowing I do just fine grinding it out. Then, at the end of the game, I think that I should have won the time of possession by a lot more. Run the ball more stupid, I tell myself.

Mine is in coverage, unless its a deep bomb, and even then, i never hit the button in time to swat or catch the ball.

I also get the 'Ryan Day against Michigan' effect. I'm a spread option running team/coach averaging 320 on the ground a game and sometimes, against some annoying teams, i'm just **** it 4 wide i'm goin deep every play, to my detriment, lack of star receivers and eventual loss.
