Best Next Gen Madden from Madden 21 to Madden 25

Hey guys! What was yall favorite Madden based on gameplay ever since next gen was released. I would really appreciate to see some of yall thoughts. Thanks and have a great rest of your day!

I put the most time in with M22 so I suppose that makes it my favorite. I'm enjoying M25 well enough but I haven't played a great deal of it because of CFB but I will play it heavy from now until after the Super Bowl.

The initial current generation release (M21) was definitely a favorite of mine. All of the others (outside of 22, didn't rock with that one) were pretty solid as well. 25 is certainly the bees knees. Hopefully only up from here. Heard from a lil bird that they were scanning cheerleaders and mascots for 26, so I think we may get a heavy dose of long awaited broadcast presentation this year. Gameplay, while maybe not rock solid in some aspects is waaaay better than serviceable at this point and it's looking like some heavy resources might be shifted to UI and presentation this year.

I'd give 25 the edge now over 24 with 21 and 23 fighting for 3rd and 22 bringing up the rear.

CFB gets more playing time so 24 was my most played but the series is going in the right direction.

25 and 24 in my opinion.

23 is the worst of the bunch, only because they removed match coverage from the CPU for a year.

I haven't played much of 25, I bought CFB this year and am waiting for M25 to hit gamepass. But until 25 I always thought the gameplay of 21 was the best. Before they added all the Xfactors and Momentum shifting and gameplanning elements, they always felt like too many overlapping mechanics leading to goofy results. As an example in 23, I was playing a road game where the momentum factor made it difficult to hot route, so I was unable to hot route a halfback to block when he was literally lined up a yard to my QB's left.

21 was the sweet spot for me in terms of CPU game planning and playcalling the HUM vs. CPU experience.

My secret perversion has always been 21 NG. The animations, player models and passing seem to be the smoothest. I'm not a dynasty or online guy....I'm pure play now and practice. i just like to get home from a long day of work and not be bothered with all the fancy stuff that madden has gone thru over the past 4 years.

WR go up for the ball...yes I get that 21 is animation based but who cares, they play out nicely. the tackles, break tackles, trucks and bucks are so so sweet. The cpu AI is weak but I'll take that and surf my self just a tad to get great game play... I like the the NEW passing trajectory of 25 and how WR bounce off of tacklers and I like the responsiveness of 25. but pure core stuff goes to 21.

Madden 24 for me. Had one of my best and longest franchises with the commanders.

Couldn't really get into 25. The gameplay changed quite a bit from 24 and getting used to the NCAA gameplay didn't help either.
By the time Madden came out I was already deep into NCAA

I really like 21 as well. The CPU calls a varied game, the major stuff works for the most part, etc.

If they could get play calling right, I’d probably say 25, but I just can’t with this year’s game, lol.
