Title Update to drop tomorrow...

Along with the launch of Season 5 for MUT, there will also be a title update as well.
I was able to catch a couple of nuggets (watching on Twitch currently) and it was mentioned about offensive playbooks getting some updates as far as formations.

There was a member of the Madden team speaking on some changes as well, but the audio kept cutting out, so I wasn't able to piece anything of his together.

Obviously, the gridiron notes will outline everything...just hope they get released asap so there is no guessing on what this update corrects.

Sounds like a plan to me. Hopefully they finally get to the LT vs RE glitch I've been harping on for the past 5 months lol!!

Should be interesting to see the PC patch summary tomorrow. Sometimes they also sneak in little changes in these updates, good and bad, like the update a few months ago that removed the ability to save during the draft.

-800+ playbook updates = new formations/plays
-Better catch physics on INTs
-Tuning to overpowered high-ball throws for more inaccuracies
-No “Superman” dives on conservative ball carrier
-Hits right after a catch should cause more KOs

These updates should curb the phrase "Robo QB" for good, if true.

I don't see much Robo QB currently and cringe when I see someone state Robo QB.

In my own mind, I feel they don't have the current iteration of the game.

It depends on a lot of things in that regard. Fatigue slider settings, qb accuracy settings, pass coverage settings etc. Without knowing your current set up, it's hard to know why you aren't seeing it. I start with default and use Mike Lowes slider app to make adjustments, and its definitely there. Especially on all madden, it's nothing for the cpu qb to complete 80% of their passes.

Agree, slider adjustments are key and I'm playing on AP. It might be there on AM and people who don't want to adjust sliders.

sounds promising. ive been playing more thanks to having the backbone and xbox remote play. i just started a new franchise last week, simmed the first year and took over my Jets. had a super fun draft class that i'm looking forward to playing tonight.

my only two issues right now are:

not being able to reorder the depth chart with Y. come back!

and cpu quarterbacks scrambling yet hitting that imaginary wall and throwing it away instead of just scrambling up the field. all that open grass! drives me nuts. does anyone know a fix to that? possibly in the traits section of each player? i would glady go and switch them all.

Seems like most of the gameplay updates are restricted to the competitive game style, can't really complain as the game is playing great on simulation.

Does anybody know is there a way to skip this new Madden Playcard/NFL Team Pass. I am not interested in adding anything to my profile or spending anymore money. I just want to play my franchise. Is there any way to skip past this option an not have to pick a fav team etc. It looks terrible all over the main menu now

on release, RoBo QB was very apparent, and a game killer for me. i stopped playing for a while but recently rebooted to see what changes the updated implemented. Ive been very pleases with what ive seen from the changes..

Each title update the game has become better as it ages imho.

Honestly I'm not sold that the changes they made are truly only in competitive mode and won't leak over to other modes.

While they do have some things separated by mode under the hood, there are also a good number of tuning parameters that are universal across all 3 modes.
