New way to change up NCAA 25 Gameplay

Let me first say this won't be for everyone.

I loved watching the 80s and Early 90s when Option Football was Big. So what I am doing is going thru each Team with the Retire Option and going to set everyone to some type of Option Offense.

I know some teams don't have the Personnel to Run the Option but I just think it will make the Game so unpredictable and make going forward in Dynasty even more Interesting.


What do you all think?

It's obviously a fantasy that anything like that would happen, but it would be neat.

The OOTP baseball series lets you make some global modifiers which greatly influence the way the game is played. So, if you don't like all the strikeouts in the modern game you could adjust the modifiers such that the game is more reflective of baseball 30 years ago with more small ball, or you could go even bigger with the home runs if you want. It would be cool to have that kind of control over the style of game that is offered.

I think it sounds interesting and fun. Adding onto what KSU is saying, OOTP allows for a true sandbox mode even greater than what the NBA 2k series offers. I would love for us to have the type of control within dynasty mode of this game so we could set the year, change how the game is played, activate/disable certain schemes over time to make the game evolve, etc. I think in the spirit of your post, in a setup like this I'd love to start in 1980 in dynasty and introduce the spread offense to college football sooner than it was in real life and see how history plays out differently. Or, in your case, make it so that type of offense never takes off and everyone remains run/option oriented in general and see how history plays out that way.

I have been watching CPU vs CPU games in Dynasty Mode and loving it. It is definitely throwback football.
