Don't get how even with HHH in charge they haven't improved the tag division a huge amount. On SD right now you could do a tag team elimination chamber match and you have the teams for it.

Similarly with Vinci. Splitting up Imperium made no sense just to make Kaiser Gunthers sidekick who doesn't do much anyways when those 2 could've just been a tag team behind him.
Kaiser had/has a WWE future. There was no reason to keep him stuck with the generic 2K CAW that is Giovanni Vinci.

But at the same time, he hasn't exactly done anything since either so why split them up when there was no plan for Kaiser.

He hasn't won titles yet, but Kaiser can talk, get reactions, and get people interested in a match. Vinci...eh. His freeze-frame entrance is the exact kind of thing that works in NXT so maybe they could've left him there for a bit to see if anything else about him caught on. That was probably his best shot.

That gimmick was actually decent, but only works in an NXT environment. But he's almost 35, so if there's no room on the main roster, no point being in NXT. Kaisers the exact same age (only a few weeks difference in birthdays) so if they do plan on using Kaiser on the main roster they better give him something before he just gets stuck being Gunthers sidekick who either turns on Gunther (and that's the only notable moment for him from that point on) or Gunther turns on him.

Maybe they were planning on making Ilja part of Imperium and tream him with Kaiser?

A few years ago when AEW first started, at least released WWE talent had somewhere to go and with AEW being new and needing talent, they could easily fit in. Then Tony Khan went all New York Yankees and signed every free agent from WWE to the point where AEW ended up having a bloated roster.

Honestly, both WWE & AEW need to trim the fat and cut back on their rosters a bit. For WWE, nothing really of loss here as they have a plethora of talent waiting in the wings in NXT to essentially replace those released. I can see Cedric obviously going to AEW to the Hurt Syndicate but I feel he would be better off in TNA. The Good Brothers likely go to New Japan, maybe TNA.

Seeing them release Sonya, Blair & Isla Dawn when both the IC Championship & US Championship scene needed them. Sonya could have easily been feuding with Lyra, and Blair could have been feuding with whoever takes the title off Chelsea. It's baffling when those championships don't have anything going for them and potential challengers were released.

I'm glad Gallows and Anderson got paid, but man were they wasted in WWE. Honestly I don't think any promotion has figured out what to do with them, for whatever reason. In a perfect world they would be some kind of version of a modern APA. Instead, their best content has been left to their podcasts and the occasional indie run. And they can't be on a PG show, that's for sure.

                    Elektra also gone.

Again, not a surprise. She didn't do much in NXT or the main roster other than just being LDF manager. But Santos on the mic isn't any worse than she is.

She was pretty good in the ring and I'd simp for her as well. [emoji28][emoji38]

Triple H needs to do a better job of actually utilizing people before he chucks them out (or upper management does).

As expected, the releases are coming in.

Main roster seeing names like Strowman & Dakota (again) gone, Shayna gone too (I could see Zoey released eventually if she hasn't been), Carter and Chance gone too.

NXT with some surprises like Thorpe, Osborne, Gigi and the most shocking, Cora Jade.

Dakota and Cora are most surprising for me given both aren't exactly names that you don't see on tv.

For the men, Braun’s a little surprising but not too much. The others? Eh

Gigi and Cora are surprising in the sense that they’re always on TV (when healthy) but they’ve also been down there forever and are still in the same spots they’ve always been. Can’t be stagnant when they’ve got another whole roster of women progressing behind them.

                              Jakara Jackson gone too.

She was the least interesting of the meta four members, but now we know why they disbanded the group.

Lash has the potential to be a breakout star on the main roster.
