6. Kentucky (5-2) Losses to Florida & UGA but drummed SCar 40-0 and Vandy 52-7 and had decisive win over Ole Miss
7. Mizzou (5-2) Rebounded from losses to BC and Vandy with 3 game win streak
8. Texas (4-3) Highly disappointing start by Longhorns, were not competitive against #2 UM, #12 OU or #4 UGA
9. Texas A&M (4-3) Up and down season but 2 losses in a row to Mizzou and Mississippi State
