Any word on Athletics and Tampa Stadiums

I assume given the sudden change in parks for Tampa it won't be available. What about The A's it's been in the works a full season and it's the home for a few seasons. Any chance they have Sacramento's stadium in the game?

Nothing stated as of yet. I would think TB will just be at their field for sure though.

I noticed in the video they purposely hid the status of the Athletics stadium by only showing them on the road lol.

Hoping these temporary stadiums make it into the game at launch, if not then I'm hoping The Show community will fill in the gaps with their created ballparks. Never liked playing in Tropicana anyways.

When blue jays played in Buffalo I think it was in 2020 the covid year there was not any special stadium added from them then so I see same thing here for ATHLETICS. I myself just will find a similar looking minor league stadium as use that and eventually look at the created ones once someone does one.

Tampa will most likely be in the Trop since it’s just a temporary move due to a natural disaster. Not sure about the Athletics since they aren’t playing in Oakland anymore for contractual reasons, so looking forward to see what happens. I’d assume the Coliseum moves to the throwback stadiums though.

I'm wondering if this might be something they could patch in down the road? Not so much the Steinbrenner stadium, as this is only temporary, but the Sacramento field should definitely be added due to how long the A's will be there.

You mean you think they will be called Oakland in the game, and will play in the Coliseum?

I think they will be labelled The Athletics and have one of the minor league parks as their homefield. Maybe even the stadium in Sacramento will be in the game, even if Sony didn't render it realistically from scratch like normal, maybe the devs used the create-a-stadium to build a quick version of the Sacramento stadium. But I don't think Oakland will be represented anywhere in MLBTS25, except for the Coliseum being in the Classic Stadium list. At least I hope Sony was able to secure rights from the city of Oakland.
                  Izit Spring Training yet?

Yeah my guess as well, by the looks of it the devs created the college stadiums also within the created stadium boundaries.

The A’s won’t be Oakland in the game. They’ll just be labeled A’s like IRL and either put at a generic minor league stadium, or they’ll have the stadium they’re playing at in the game since it’s been in the works for a while, and it’ll be their home for a few years. As far as Tampa I don’t think anything changes for them since they’re just playing elsewhere due to a natural disaster. Regardless you can find some good created Steinbrenner stadiums to download and put them there for a year. Im sure they’ll be some good versions of the stadium in Sacramento as well.
