They NEED to fix the strange names on white players for CFB26

This one thing alone would save me so much trouble.

I don't think I can put into words how much it bothers me seeing so many white players with names like "Feitu Saamsale" or dudes named "Luther Ah You.". I'd say besides improvements to how CPU teams build out and manage their rosters year-to-year, this is my #1 biggest hope that they change for next year's game.

I'm just glad we can edit names, positions, and equipment because this is something that is probably vastly overlooked by the majority of players but would have had the potential to completely ruin the game for me if we didn't have a workaround.

Also, I really hope they fix the Transfer Portal. There seems to be a strange bug in the game where all the QBs from a Western US area all sign with the same team (this is something that I'm currently experiencing in my latest Dynasty with Arizona having EJ Werner, Aidan Chiles, Miller Moss, Fernando Mendoza, and a few other QBs that transferred). I've actually been doing my best to take temporary control and manually recruit the transfers so they don't end up stacked on one team.

The best corner on my team that just graduated was a white guy named "Sinilau Tuefele"

The names don't bother me THAT much because we can edit them (or I can just consider the player biracial and white-passing).

It would bother me even less if we could change player appearances. If a recruit has a Samoan name but is clearly a white dude, I'd ideally wanna just make him look right.

Yeah not sure why they put so many faces in the recruit pool that look like old dudes.

I believe they are the same faces you choose from when making a coach. There are only a handful of faces for each skin color that seem different based on hair color, hair style, and facial hair.

I just signed a player with a strange name. Legend Chin, a 4-star TE. I am definitely changing his name to Sam Axe, just wish I could change his appearance to resemble Bruce Campbell.

This is all I want in NCAA 26. You want there to be 100 white corners, running backs, and wide receivers.

But give us the option to edit fake players appearances for those of us who want realism. You’re not going to see three 5/4 star white wide receivers and a white running back all starting at a school like LSU.

I’ve convinced myself the white players at other schools are just light skinned bi-racial players at this point.

The names don't bother me THAT much because we can edit them (or I can just consider the player biracial and white-passing).

I actually don't recruit certain players because you can't edit appearances. Which actually gives me a better experience because I usually can't recruit the best players. I play only offline dynasty.

I prefer a more realistic roster makeup. There's nothing I can do about the CPU teams. But I tend to only focus on my personal team. I don't have an infinite amount of time to ensure the CPU teams are realistic too.

Hopefully this is resolved in 26'. Just use statistics & demographics for recruiting. I'm sure they have the information.

This right here man. In our 32 man online dynasty, there are about 4-5 of us who will bypass players, no matter what their star rating is because they don't fit a certain...aesthetic. Really hope this oversight is fixed for next year, I know some would think it silly, but it really does take away from the immersion.

EA has player generator is programmed in a way to assume every human is the same and there are no social, cultural, or biological differences for obvious reasons. Imagine the backlash if there were never any black kickers or punters. Or if the majority of RB’s and DB’s were black. I do think you should be able to change name and appearance though.

It is very odd how many white RB’s and DB’s there are and how many black kickers and punters there are. Even QB there seem to be more black 4 and 5 star guys.

This was an issue in Madden. They finally fixed it. Representing different demographics accurately is not a silly want nor is it is anything that should be controversial. If anything, the way it is setup right now can be argued as very disrespectful towards many diverse communities around the world. When Hialeah is spitting out 20 recruits over 5 years in my Dynasty and 19 of them are white dudes, that's a slap in the face to the real people of that community who are not being properly represented.
