Red Sox have a guy named Jhostynxon

    Pronounced "Justinson"

Poor ST commentators trying to figure out how to say guys names

Utah at least having fan voting is nice, though it seems more like they had a specific name in mind regardless and are trying to steer votes towards certain themes.

Sem Robberse 0.2 IP 94.50 ERA.

He'll likely be our setup man on Opening Day.

On the bright side they did extend Fredbirds contract. Gonna be a long year.

                  RIP "POOP"

All jokes aside, that is a worse looking scorebug.

Of all the ones from last year, I'd say maybe NBC Sports looks the best with MLB Local Media being 2nd.

So far I like the ABS challenges. They've been real fast. I said before I wanted it to be like tennis challenges and I think it's just as fast if not faster.

They're not using it during the season this year but I really hope it becomes a fixture.

I don't think the ATP/WTA use the challenge system anymore. All line calls are automated (on hard courts, anyway).

This is the end goal, right? If at some point MLB and the PA are satisfied that ABS is 99.9% accurate (I doubt if it is yet), then it should be used for all called balls and strikes.

That should be the end goal for sure, but the challenge system so far I think has been great. Like you said, 99.9% accurate is great.

Right now aren't umps accurate on average about 93% of the time (if i read the ump scorecard page right)? Seems good but over the course of a game that is about 20 pitches that are wrong, or 1 pitch per inning (which goes to show how often teams could technically use their challenge).

The speed of the calls has been the most impressive to me so far. It takes almost no time at all for the challenge.

Jordan Walker left the game yesterday with knee pain.

Good thing we went out this offseason and signed veteran players to back up the young talent just in case of injury or poor production.

                            Oh wait...

Usually try to get to a Mets spring training game here since the Pirates never come to the other coast. Traffic is too insane for me this year
