Hopefully they do a better job with the "with Injuries" roster this year. It was a good idea last year but it never got updated.

I’d love a option to manually injury players a roster not just franchise so I don’t have to move someone to class A to not take up a roster spot

One big injury that won't impact your franchise, same as last year. Shohei Ohtani.
He will be on the virtual diamond mound tossing pitches right from the get-go in Spring Training but IRL probably not until May. He's just so unique a talent, this video game isn't yet able to replicate his uniqueness, tho it has made great strides since Shohei's MLB debut.. I hated it last year when, just to keep him as DH , you had to let him pitch too. At least with 30 team control off. I guess 30 team control on is a different story altogether.

I played 30 team control and I still hate that. Ohtani is so incredible important to the MLB - however, when simulating more than 5 games with my Dodgers Franchise, Ohtani OF COURSE started pitching and somehow disappeared as a DH. And he doesn´t get any votes as a DH for the All Star Game but leads DHs in the Award category.

Really? is it possible to do this?

Yeah, you can toggle injuries to Manual in the settings before your first spring training game.
You can even manually injure other teams players without having 30 team roster control on.

Now is a good time to remind people to not have cpu roster control set to on or you won't be able to toggle injuries.

I played 30 team control and I still hate that. Idk if I was just lucky or something, but using 30 team control last year I had absolutely no issues with Ohtani at all. All you had to do was put him as the #2 set up man. He will DH every game. Never get tired because he is the DH so he will never have a rest day. And the CPU is unable to bring him in out of the bullpen if he already started the game as a DH

If you were depending on Gerritt Cole, injuries dont get much more impactful than that. Its gonna make that Max Fried FA signing that much more important.

Yea there was a like early roster update with and without injuries. But they didn't ever update the roster that had the injuries on it.
