I only buy the show at this point. Too many crappy games that can't compete with it, even with its problems. At our ages I don't think retirement is gonna be a problem, will be a bunch of GenX trash talkers playing online games.

49 here, soon 50 and not feeling physically younger as day past but still having a good time with MLBTS!

When you're gaming report starts with : "Game Time Decision - Lower Body Injury. Will keep updated!" you know that, well, you know!

      Have fun guys!

Metamucil and caramel frappe. It's the only way to go. Pun intended.

Can't stop laughing at the fact that BaconBits approved a post about Metamucil!

Wow! I did not expect this type of feedback! I’m sincerely, and pleasantly, surprised by all of you still playing. I thought I was the only old man that did this. Very cool to see.

When I stumbled on that topic, and started reading, that's exactly what I said to myself.

I was under the strong impression that OS was a community of young people and that was one of the few, if not the only one, enjoying gaming (mostly baseball)!

67 here, cut my teeth on Strat-O-Matic. Get the game, these days if you send your kids to a public school they will feed them for you. :-)

You're certainly not the only one. Nearly 48yrs old here, playing NBA2k since the first one (I also have played EVERY basketball videogame in the 90s including the text based NCAA Hoops!), regarding The Show now, the 20 version is still the best imo. I'm going to purchase 25 but I feel the game is becoming stale. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is great but I would expect at least some huge advancement in commentary. It's unacceptable a game from 2012 or so (MLB2k) has better commentary.

I'm 45 and my reflexes have definitely declined over the course of this last season. It's probably time to turn the pitch speed down a notch

That my issue with games. It take two was sweaty at some points. I like with MLBTS u can write ur own Story. Wish NHL would have Editing in Franchise.

Same age, I just wish I would only buy 2 games a year. We have seen the video game version of baseball change over the years. I started with the hand held with the red dots and I'm here now! I remember thinking 2K titles on the original Xbox looked real. Crazy how things have changed. Happy gaming.
I am the lesson after the fall.

Honestly, I’m surprised by some of the ages that you guys are still playing at. I thought I was an old gamer at 45.
