Players to skinny?

Is it me or does it seem like when batting the players are way skinnier than last year, Pete Alonso for example looks way off

I think they look more realistic now. I don’t know what they did but they look more like the real players.

I think the uniforms look better but some of the player models are off moreso.Some just look skinnier by a notch more than they should.I thought it was somewhat improved last year from '23.

It would be great if we could edit player builds on every player like Madden does although they don't always work right either.

I thought the same thing the first time I had an at bat with Alonso. It's only the view from behind the plate though, when the camera is on him from the front he looks normal

They look more realistically proportioned now with the new more modern uniform fit. They seem extra skinny because we are so accustomed to the thicker, blockier player model they had been using for upwards of 10 years.

There's no right or wrong answer on this.It's just preference.I can see both viewpoints.

Someone forgot to tell Nasty Nestor he's supposed to look skinny, he didn't get that memo.
25 says he's 210 pounds but he looks like tub of goo Terry Forster in the game.

Yeah and this is a welcome change this year because I hated how Mookie Betts looked so thick as an example. In real life he is pretty slim/thin

At first glance i thouight same thing with Altuve but you got to understand and get used to the direction they went and the build, body structure how the uniform fits. People always say player models never get updated they have and its way better than it was the players are more proportioned. If you notivce how the body structure is on 25 and noticve the new belt and how things are looking or how they fit.


I like what they did it sorts kinda looks next gen in a way the way the players body structure looks now. It does take some getting used to because were use to the way the body styles were. I think since 21 year by year the scale of the player model was improving probaly between 5-10 % each year.


Now are these NBA 2K or Fifa player models ? Not even close but definately in the right direction and goes well with all the new changes to animations, displays just all the QOF life changes. Everything for me anyways is crystal clear, really smooth and colors pop. I think on the players the way the uniform fits now just makes the players look better, but again the build of each player to me anyways is more balanced and proportioned.

I really like the new player models, but we should to be able to edit player body types for personal usage (i understand there are licensing stuff regarding using them online)... there are too many errors regarding that which make a lot of players look wrong like Alonso and Bregman for exemple.
