Buzzkills during games

Two things that seemed minor at first have really killed the vibe when playing games.
1) baserunners sliding into first base. Not sure how this made it through testing. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
2) crowd chants such as “Let’s go Cubbies!!”, or “Let’s go Nats!!” Sounds like five annoying people in your livingroom trying to get under your skin by chanting for their team at any opportunity possible. Thinking it would be nice to have a slider for crowd chants that could be turned down (or off). Hoping someone at SD Studios reads these complaints and fixes them🙏

Ben Geller Gellman Gellerman or whatever calling the minor league games.
I wish you could choose between him or Boog and Singleton. Heck, I'd choose listening to Dan Plesac over Geller Gellman Gellerman whatever.

The no doubt home run cam. The pov is from a camera position that doesn't even exist. It goes from a broadcast televised game to some arcade game. HATE IT!!!

The stupid HR length bubble that pops up as soon as the ball lands. That mixed with the HR camera makes it look cheap and unrealistic.

I keep hearing people on here talking about 1st base slides, yet I haven’t seen one at all. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and continue to hope that I don’t.

I agree 100% about the chants. It's just way too much. Regardless of the situation, they start chanting and will not shut up. It's aggravating as hell and kills the enjoyment of the game. I sincerely hope they address that issue because it's beyond ridiculous. Separating the chants with a slider would be nice where you can have it disabled, set to rare, occasionally or constant. Let the player decide that. I would have it disabled or rare, which would be more realistic.

I haven't had any headfirst slides into first either. I use auto baserunning, I wonder if that keeps me from seeing them.

Never seen a head first slide into 1st yet. The chanting of let's go team might have been caused by the last patch. I don't remember hearing it until after the patch. I could be wrong.

After 40 games I can't think of anything that totally ruins the game for me.

If you sub out more then 1 player you have to go into the menu multiple times and have to see the substitution animation every time for each player. That could be something I could see being fixed easily, but on the other hand it doesn't happen that often anyway.

Honestly I'm over Boog and Singleton in general. I'm to the point that I can't stand listening to either of them but I don't like playing with commentary off. When Singleton starts one of his long winded stories I just sit back and eye roll. Like not this one again.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the same. The "LET'S GO ____!" chants I keep hearing all...game...long is driving me crazy right now.

Also never been a fan of the no doubt home run cam, but at least SDS changed it to where we can actually see where the ball lands now, so I guess that's a start?

But for the love of God, and all puppies on this Earth, I pray they fix that awful crowd chant.

Not really a buzzkill but a week in playing and I am still not used to the changes made to the d pad menus. Keep hitting wrong buttons to warm ip relievers etc.

I have the first base slide, Auto Baserunning unfortunately isn't a fix on my end.


The only time I notice it doesn't happen is when there is another baserunner. Then the lead runner usually slides automatically and the runner will run through 1st

Sliding into 1st I think is related to using the analog stick, so I see it almost every at bat. I also hear "base hit to right field" on most routine groundouts. I sometimes get both the same play

The stadium sounds at most stadiums get played too much and too loud. I couldn't play as the Yankees for the star wars noise or Arizona for the rattlesnake sound every 2 outs.
