There's the Cardinals pitching/bullpen that we are all going to come to love over the summer

(No, this is not an april fool's joke despite it just having passed midnight here [emoji38] )
Well, on my bingo card, I didn't have Carson Kelly hitting for the cycle before Rafael Devers had a hit! But alas, here we are.

Well, through almost 10 innings of baseball the Sacramento park looks like it's a pretty extreme hitters park

(Obviously a small sample....but I did hear that it would favor hitters)

Hitters park or not the Cubs should extend Kyle Tucker (they won't)

              Rangers lose 14-2 yesterday.

So naturally they win 1-0 today behind a complete game shutout by Eovaldi

Good thing we didn't invest in pitching this offseason, or we may have at least be interesting to watch as the young guys are going to swing the bats all summer. Hitting can keep us in games, unfortunately though pitching can't.

It was fun while it lasted (3 games)

Six games is obviously a really small sample size, but it's baffling to me that a lineup that was considered one of the best in the history of the sport two years ago is now hitting a collective .137. And it's essentially the same lineup other than missing Acuna.

I wouldn't be too concerned just yet. If this six game slump had happened at the end of April it would be viewed as just ''that's baseball.''

But Atlanta does need to reverse course quickly. This can't become a nine game slump or twelve game slump or there will be definite pause for concern no doubt.

Atlanta fans shouldn't panic just yet. A lot of teams are going to struggle on a Dodgers/Padres road swing.

Pleasant start to the season but that's probably to be expected when you play Washington three times. Springer is off to a hot start which no one was expecting. We will get a good test this weekend in the Bronx.

EDIT: Whoops Jays are playing Mets this weekend not Yankees.

The Ohtani walkoff was the most predictable thing ever.

Yep...how you let him beat you is beyond me. One week in and the season is basically over; no team in MLB history has ever started 0-7 and made the playoffs. Sure, there are wild cards now...but this team is terrible. They have fallen off a cliff collectively and it's baffling because they aren't old. Oh well...
