NFL 2K incorporated it so poorly that it should have never been in there. On NFL 2K5 there were blockbuster trades all the time for absolutely rediculous deals. For example, by the third year in franchise the New York Giants quarterbacks were, in order of the depth chart, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Brett Favre. There is no consistency to it, the CPU did not trade based on needs it was just totally random which is much, much more worse than it not existing.
