It can be hard to tell when he does throw the change, since there isn't that big a difference in velocity from his sinking fastball and his change. Sometimes the sinker comes in at 90-92 and the change at 87-89.
Beckett has been good, thus far, and the only negative criticism I have for him is his command has not been there, but he's been getting away with it. He's walked too many hitters and fallen behind too many hitters which leads to bad things. The Indians finally made him pay for it.
