Just had my best game ever.

What a great game! My first competitive game all the way to the final gun. Wisconsin took a 7-0 lead in the first and Purdue ties it late in the first half on a Painter TD score. Two FG for Purdue in the 3rd and then a slugfest of Big 10 football in the 4th yielded no points. It's the first time I did not see a shootout.

The only thing that was kinda questionable was Wisconsin getting the ball with 15 seconds to go in the first half after Purdue tied the game and instead of taking a knee they run the ball and promptly fumble. Of course Purdue recovers. I send the FG team and they miss. Wisconsin takes over with 7 seconds to go runs one up the gut and call a TO with 1 second remaining and the runs another off tackle play. Just stupid. Oh well, no big deal.

use this scale for each teams offensive and defensive rating...

A+=75
A/A-=70
B+= 65
B= 60
B-= 55
C+= 45
C/C-= 40
D+= 35
D/D-=30

Ex: If your playing with or against a team with a B rating on offense, give every offensive slider a 60, if it was a C off, give every slider a 40, its the same for defense, if a teams defensive rating is an A, give all that teams defensive sliders a 70 and thats it, but remember to put your interception slider at 0.

In my dynasty, after each game i go to my schedule and preview my next game and i immediately change the cpu's sliders for my next game, i dont change them while in the game.

Cadilac ran all over the Bengals D while Rudy Johnson couldnt get anything vs the Bucs D. Palmer threw for 300 yds and each qb was in the 50-55% completion percentage.

This was an all defensive battle, each back got about 50+ yards on the ground and the qb play was really realistic, man, Peppers sacked 5 times, .

Man, the good thing about this is that I saw the good passing game from C. Palmer(but what I hate in Maddens passing game is that the qbs dont throw to the big time receivers, C. Johnson had 2 catches) and the good defense from the Panthers and even though I gave up 32 vs Palmer and company, the Bucs D played well.

its real easy, i only have to change the cpu's sliders and its pretty easy because every slider is the same on offense and defense while using that scale, it may take 20 seconds to do.

Spin, I used this last night in my bowl game and I was very pleased. I plan to try them in season 2 of my dynasty. The only thing I was going to say is that you may have to change yours as well, and here is why. In my Bama dynasty I started the year with my D rated a A-, but along the way I lost my Impact CB to injury for the year. Also my D had given up fair amount or yards so I was not in the Top 10 in the D on any of my stats. Well before my bowl game I did the pre-game check to compare teams and I noticed that my D was now rated a B+ so I had to adjust my D sliders. No biggie but you may want to check to make sure you get full credit (positive or negative) for changes your team see thought the year.

But I was very pleased with the sliders and the results I had. I beat Clemson in the Music City Bowl 36-22. I took an early 22-7 lead into the half due to 2 Clemson turnovers. But their D (A-) shut me down inside the 10 5 times and I settled for 5 FGs. To start the 2nd half the CB who replaced Robinson blew a coverage and 76 yards later I had a fight on my hands. If not for a 4th quarter goal line stand to swing MO back to my side, I would have probably lost this game.

I have a question for you guys. If the pass accuracy settings are increased substantially over 50% how does the passing game ever get shut down? I know you would have to have some discretion on how much to use the deep pass, but it just seems like that would be money if you ran a deep pattern.

yeah, i preview each of my games before i change the slider set and for some reason, in comparison to the preview rating and the rating at the team selection screen, the ratings dont match, so i just go with the preview ratings.

not really, i pretty much play on default on both of these, but i may look at the kicker and punters ratings(may use the average) to get an idea of what i can adjust.

well, in my dynasty with WVU and my accuracy at 65, my qb threw for 57% in my first season and he's at 55% in year 2. Heck, i even threw 16 picks in year 1.
