I can honestly say i haven't worried about sliders with this game. I play coach mode and other than bumping up the run slider one for both sides i haven't touched them since. My stats come out very realistic, my first few seasons Ben normally was a tad over a 100 QB rating...he became too expensive and i let him go to bring in Troy Smith and while he's had some nice scrambles my pass game really suffered. Everythings been very realistic and i've never had more fun with a football game.
