The throwing with the stick has potential, but the selection of the receivers would not work well using strictly a throwing direction; especially considering there are six targets on screen, often in similiar areas.

It worked alright in NFL Blitz due to there generally being just 3 potential receivers, but in Madden there would have to be a much more precise way of specifying target.

Furthermore, I would prefer if the analog stick were tied strictly to the throw itself, thus allowing a player to adjust his throws accordingly on bootleg rollouts, etc.
