Same here. Although I did pick up a handful of Gamecube titles a week or so ago.

I know what ya mean. It's hard to pass up on those $9.95 games.

so far I've picked up Super Mario, Sonic, Street Fighter II, and Gunstar Heroes. Eventually I'll grab Super Castlevania. I've never played or really even heard of Toe Jam before, what do you do in that game.

Also, I recommend the original Zelda too. I would have grabbed it if I didnt' have the Gamecube disc with all the games but Link to the Past.

Kevin, you have that GC Zelda promotion disc too huh? The one with the original Zelda, Zelda2, and the two N64 Zeldas? Where did you find it?

The games I have thus far, are Super Mario, Sonic, and Super Mario 64. I want to add Toe Jam & Earl soon though. Its hard to describe TJ&E, since its been so long since I've played the game, I just remember having fun playing it. You do a lot of exploring in the world, I know that.

GS had a used copy in when I was in there tonight and didn't get it. Thought about it but figured I wouldn't play it.

Sonic and ToeJam distort a bit here and there on the Wii. Might be interlacing, but it's only on random pixels/models. Noticeable, but not too annoying.

It's a pity Nintendo didn't offer a couple of selectable filters like the emulator's on PC do.

I got it free when I bought Zelda Windwaker for the Cube.

I just got my Wii yesterday. I downloaded Super Mario Brothers and Ice Hockey. I'm thinking about Mario 64 but I don't have the controller for it. Any word on the possibility of Tecmo Bowl?

Re: Wii Online and Virtual Console Discussion

I am upset with Nintendo for two reasons(well not really upset, just a bit frustrated with the VC's:

i think they should lower the price of some of these games. This is strictly opinion but i think the price point is too high. Perhaps offer a bunch of games for a certain price or something.

We need more games. This is just me being inpatient, but i want herzog zwei, and i want bionic commando, and i want super metroid. If would be cool if they just put everything up and you can pick from a huge *** list, instead of having to wait to see if the game you want will come out the following week, and only a handful of games at that.

The prices are too high for sure.

But the slow flow of games is so they can release a big name or two on the VC during slower Wii months.

Ya see though, these aren't new games. These are games that have been around for a long while. Granted, many new gamers may have not experienced them and that would be a good argument.

                                I am just impatient.
