I think that's the fix as others on the playstation forums have found out. I think once you kill the power in the rear, the PS3's internal memory and firmware registers are reset.

The only ones who've experienced this problem are usually the ones who performed the v1.50 update and leave their machines in standby. Those that did a hard reset by completely shutting off the system found that error message never came back.

I'm on v1.51 and have never seen this message because I never leave the system in standby mode.
