Willy Aybar suspended

Willy Aybar's future with the Braves became even cloudier on Sunday afternoon, when the club announced that he had been suspended for three games for violation of team policy. Aybar, who is currently on the 15-day disabled list because of a sore right hand, didn't show up for Saturday night's scheduled game against the Marlins. When he didn't arrive at Turner Field again Sunday, the Braves made the decision to suspend him, which is expected to take three days of pay away from the utility infielder. Braves general manager John Schuerholz chose not to comment on the matter.
